I just want to say, if you're thinking about getting your first Manzilian (male Brazilian) and you're nervous or embarrassed, don’t be. Just take that first step. It’s absolutely worth it, and you’ll be so glad you did. After you get through the pain, your lower parts will look better than ever and they will thank you!
I had mine done by Jessie at Wax Me Too, and she was phenomenal. She’s not just skilled at what she does, she made me feel completely safe, respected, and cared for through the entire process. She really knows how to guide you through something so vulnerable with both professionalism and kindness. She answered every question and addressed every fear I had.
Jessie did an amazing job keeping me distracted when I needed it, helping me stay calm, and (unexpectedly!) giving me space to open up about my life during the session. That meant more than I can say. She wasn’t just waxing me, she was providing a service that went way beyond the physical. I walked out feeling lighter, more confident, and honestly proud of myself for doing something I’d been scared for years to try.
Thank you, Jessie, for your incredible work and your kindness. If you’re on the fence, trust me: you’re in...
Read moreI debated writing this review but after going to another wax location/business I feel less crazy about my experience here. This was my first time getting waxed so maybe it was just more painful for that particular reason but getting waxed here was SO painful, and it hurt for days after. I didn’t feel like it was a normal amount of painful cause I have super high pain tolerance and it was literally take my breath away in shock after getting waxed here I said I would never get waxed again after I got waxed here.
And now I know I’m not crazy cause I just got waxed post 7 weeks today at a different location different business and it was so much better and hardly even hurt at all! Maybe it’s because it was a sugar wax VS. and my first experience HERE (Waxmetoo) was a soft wax? But I liked sugar waxing way more. So make sure you ask what kind of wax is used before you get waxed here cause I feel like if I would’ve known it was soft wax and not sugar wax I wouldn’t have chosen to get waxed here…
The wax lady was super nice though and tried her best to make my first experience the best which...
Read moreI’ve been wanting to get a Brazilian for a long time, but like many people, I was afraid it would be painful and awkward. I had a million questions and was uncomfortable asking them. But then I found Wax Me Too. I poked around on their website for a bit and located a Q&A section. It seemed to answer ALL of my questions. And I loved that the person who wrote it did so with such personality! I entered their drawing and was surprised to learn the next day that I had won. So of course I couldn’t back out now!! I was booked with Gissell. From the moment I walked in the door, she was just so kind and welcoming. She explained exactly what she was going to do so there were no surprises. She gave me every opportunity to ask any questions that I had. She kept the appointment very light and was extremely professional. I am so glad I didn’t let my fears take over and cancel my appointment! Gissell is absolutely amazing! She does a great job, is quick and thorough, and I will definitely be booking more appointments in the...
