Z Brothers Pizza — Restaurant in Layton

Update 10/14/2022- After the issue I had, the store reached out to me to apologize. When I came in, the manager talked to me personally, and explained that their phone service had gone out overnight, and they hadn't noticed until I left my review (they had only been open for around 2 hours). They were able to get it back online, and when I called the next day, they answered very quickly. The manager, Heather, was very kind and professional- she even threw in some free bread sticks for me. Overall I had a good experience with them, and I don't think my negative encounter reflects what is typical at this store. The pizza was very delicious, albeit in the pricier side.

Got an advertisement in the mail, decided to try them out- tried calling in twice around lunch time, spent a total of 20 minutes on hold hearing 'you're first in line, our next available customer service representative will be with you shortly.' a pretty bad first impression to be sure. At these prices, customer service ought to be better. I'll stick with Domino's- they can have it delivered faster than these guys can pick...

I'm so excited that they're finally open!! I've been going to the NSL and Centerville locations for a few years now. was SO excited when I found out one was going in so close to home and I've been waiting MONTHS. Now they're finally open!!!!!

ZBrothers pizza is everything I want pizza to be. First, the crust is very flavorful, brown, crispy and just a little chewy - The perfect foundation. The sauce is also delicious and I like the amount they put on it. I hate when the sauce is squoozing out the edges when I take a bite. They're generous with the toppings and the toppings have always been fresh. Finally, the cheese, simple but it must be right - a good amount over the top of everything without having to ask for extra. It's got that browned cheesy deliciousness down to an artform.

They also have salads, sm and large. I really like the salad too but some at work aren't fans. It comes with tomatoes, green bell pepper, black olives and mushrooms which I love. Oh and a sprinkle of mozz and croutons. At lunch you can get a sm salad and a...

When did pizza get so expensive? I can’t believe how much places like this are charging for such a simple dish.. maybe if they had some sort of incredible recipe or something unique to keep customers coming back… but this is just another average pizza joint. If they are going to charge 4x what Little Caesars charges, then they should be 4x as good. Pizza can only get so good, people aren’t looking for the freshest ingredients, or the most authentic style… if they are, they’ll go to an authentic Italian restaurant. People just want something quick and cheap because they don’t have time to cook that night, the lines out Little Caesars doors prove this.
