The Little Orient is a small family run restaurant. They have been slowly opening since Covid. Their restaurant is back open although it’s still not full service. You can call ahead or order online. We called with our order, then we sat and ate at the restaurant. It’s a quaint restaurant. We were the only ones there but we remember what it was like before Covid hit. The food is great. It’s fresh, made to order Chinese food. We’ve been eating here for years.

Asked if they make Singapore noodles, they said yes some lomein version, but they clearly do not. It’s a curry based glass/vermicelli type noodle with bean sprouts, onions and celery along with curry. Not the lame version of soy sauce drenched extra black pepper noodles you gave with every which vegetable you could think of. If you didn’t know how to make it, don’t say you do cause the version you made doesn’t exist but in your own head. Next time google it!

I have been going to this restaurant since I was ten. I LOVE IT. The food here is amazing and the people who run the place are the best. I honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. Thank you so much, Cindy!

I initially rated this 5 stars (a little over a year ago) My last two visits, most recently, have not been good though. My daughter and I have gotten sick the last two times we've ordered food. After the first bout of not feeling well, we decided maybe it was an unfortunate coincidence. We decided yesterday to try it again and give support to a local/small business during pandemic season, but we again both got sick after eating. What horrible timing to get chills, nausea and vomiting during covid time. My daughter got especially sick. I thought the chicken tasted a little off, but I decided maybe my taste buds were the ones that were "off". Ugh, I should have known better. I do believe now that the chicken was indeed not safe for consumption. We will not be returning again, unfortunately. I no longer trust this place. it's too bad, I really did enjoy it when we very first tried it, but that was over a year ago and the two times since then have not been good experiences. Customer Service yesterday was also not very good. The woman who assisted us over the phone and at the window seemed...

If you go to restaurants for good, friendly service and great atmosphere, this may not be the place for you. If you go to restaurants, for good food, this is the place for you.

When I entered, the waitress/hostess completely ignored my partner and myself for a good 5 minutes in an empty restaurant. When she finally acknowledged us, she asked "you want something to go?" And acted extremely miffed when we said we wanted to be seated. She refilled our drinks often, and the food came out in a timely manner, but she just did not seem happy to be working. Towards the end of our visit, she left or went on break, and we were served by the kitchen staff who were a lot friendlier than our waitress.

The food itself was great. I had the beef with snow peas, and it was fantastic. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken, lo mein, hot and sour soup, and wontons. All were fantastic. I will be returning for the food, but don't expect...

Update 072024. Last review was 3 years ago and in between these reviews, I had some great food here. The trick might be to go earlier in the day. I came last night at 8pm, and everything was over cooked and dry. Wont do that again. Also see that our combo meals were mostly fried rice, which was the only thing that was good. Could not eat egg foo young. GRAVY had an odd rancid taste to iit and it was very over cooked. Same with the chicken.Egg rolls were so small and thin, I thought it was more S/S chicken. Expensive for food we could not eat. ORIGINAL REVIEW: FOOD is not the same quality anymore. The shrimp were so overcooked and dry. The house rice had no flavor and the Generals Chicken also over cooked. This was my first revisit since March and a waste of 40.00 but I have eaten here for years and want...
