I always love to go to the Smokey Mo's. I crave BBQ constantly and the Smokey Mo's offers great food, service, and the food is relatively affordable considering how much it costs to eat out these days. I love their sausage. It's mouth-wateringly tender, flavorful and it also comes in jalapeño if your palette favors the spicy. It also pairs quite well with their BBQ sauce which is a nice blend of sweet and smokey. I really dig their potato salad which is nice and moist. It scoops like ice cream and is tasty like a scoop of ice cream. Potato salad should never be dry. I'm also rather fond of the macaroni and cheese. My wife says they add a little bit of citric acid to it. It's how they make it so creamy. It is O so creamy. PRAISE CHEESUS! The employees are both courteous and professional. They cut off the blackened portion of my moist brisket at my request to make it easier to chew and digest. Class act! They have bread, pickles and onions out on the floor so you can make your own BBQ sandwich. And I suggest you do. Praise Cheesus!

Smokey Mo’s absolutely nails it across the board. The food is incredible, greatly made and everything served hot and fresh. You can really taste the care that goes into every bite. The service? Top-notch! Friendly, extremely fast, and genuinely welcoming. You feel like they actually appreciate having you there, which makes the whole experience even better. And the atmosphere? Clean, and full of that down-home BBQ charm. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, the vibe is always warm and inviting. Smokey Mo’s is the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to, highly recommended!

I recently placed an order with this restaurant and wanted to bring an issue to attention. I had specifically ordered pork belly, but when the order arrived, it had been replaced with “weight in meat,” without any prior notice, explanation, or apology. Additionally, I was not offered a refund or compensation for the item I did not receive. I understand that sometimes items may be unavailable, but I believe it’s important to be informed and given the option to choose a replacement or request a refund. This location has done this twice now. Perhaps look elsewhere for pork belly.

I can't honestly say how people think this is a GREAT experience... Firstly, the food is WAY overpriced. The staff is often very unfriendly (always young kids; never seems to be an adult in the place, ever). They send you out the door with the Chopped Baker potato in PAPER bags, and even though they wrap it in plastic wrap, it manages to leak through the bag and drops your food all over the floor. Either: a) make the brisket less greasy (which, if you think of it, it really shouldn't be that greasy in the first place?), or just put the butter on the side, if that's what's causing it, and b) use PLASTIC BAGS, so that at least there's a chance that you might get it home undamaged. The staff seems to EXPECT you to leave a tip, although for $30 for two people, it's already far more costly than it should be. The sausage is ALWAYS full of gristle and the ends of the links are never trimmed off, so you're struggling (first) to eat it, then to later fish it out of your teeth. They're also always OUT OF everything, even earlier in the day, so I imagine the owners want to keep from making more food later in the day to save money. But you're supposed to cater to customers, not just yourselves.

Personally, I've had much better BBQ elsewhere (think Rudy's, as far as fast food chains go), but my family seems to like this place, so I'm forced to eat there often. But it certainly is not a good value nor a good experience in...

Please save your money and go elsewhere. Against my better judgment I gave Smokey Mo’s another chance. Was being lazy and didn’t want to drive to Stile Switch. Went to my local Smokey Mo’s and ordered a 3-meat plate. Brisket, jalapeño sausage, and pork ribs. Potato salad and cream corn as my sides. Service was great! Restaurant was clean! Completely empty at 7pm on a Sunday night. I should have known. Got my food and started eating. Brisket was worst I’ve ever had. Bland and slightly crispy on the inside. Weird. The “ribs” were tough and chewy. Also, it wasn’t even really ribs. There was no bone. It was the outside cut of a spare rib. I had to dunk it in bbq sauce to make it even slightly enjoyable. The jalapeño sausage was the best of the three and it was bad. Oh, also, everything was cold. Potato salad was super bland. The cream corn was crispy and chewy?? The tea and bbq sauce were the only two things that were enjoyable. Again, service was great. Very friendly staff. Place was clean. However, for $26 the food is just not recommendable. I’m sorry I cheated on you Stile Switch....
