THE BOSS TACOS Y MAS — Restaurant in Leander

Update: I've been back an additional two times. The first time, the taco was excellent, and the second time.. no jalepenos again. So at this point you owe me $1.50. Best of luck.

I really want to like this taco spot, but there's a lot of inconsistency in their food. I've eaten here 3 times. The first time, the flour tortilla was completely shredded, and had to dump the contents onto a plate to eat. The second time was perfect. Bacon egg and cheese w/jalepenos. The 3rd time I ordered the same thing, only not to get the $0.75 jalepenos I ordered, and the eggs are overcooked. So, you may get a great taco, you may need a fork, or you may not get what you order. The little nook where this is located is cool, with music playing, lots of Adirondack seating, fire pits for the evening, and a plethora of other trucks offering coffees,...

The Boss Tacos Y Mas is a welcomed addition to the wildfire park. As a loyal Matinee coffee drinker, the coffee and taco in the park on a Saturday morning can't be beat. Each time I've ordered here, the service has been fast and friendly, and the food is delicious. I'm convinced they have the best migas taco in town.

Edit: as of 8/1, they have raised their prices significantly on the tacos, but the size and amount has stayed the same, which is unfortunate. Will be dining here sporadically...

Probably one of the best breakfast tacos and burrito I have found. They would have a perfect five star rating if someone didn't lower their score because they had to raise prices. When prices go up it's not great, but let's be honest, we can all admit this price increase isn't their fault. I just wish they were open more than 4...
