I wish I read the reviews first. Read them! Look for another oil change service provider. They screwed up my car. They didnāt cover my reimbursement. They didnāt apologize. They ruined my family vacation.
I took my VW Atlas into them on Sunday. They said they didnāt have the oil or filter for the car. They did say I could purchase it and bring it back so they could change it. Thatās what I did.
After the service was done my family and I hit the road to Dallas for a last minute family vacation. 25 minutes out from the hotel. We heard a noise from underneath the car. After multiple stops to see what was the problem it turns out Valvolineās service providers didnāt put the screen underneath the car back on properly. It was getting caught in the wind and eventually hitting the ground. I spent money and time attaching the bottom to the car so it was driveable.
We made it to the hotel. I had to the. Get up to take the car to VW dealership to spend money out of my pocket to get the slip cover replaced. The dealership also said that the filter was not properly placed in the car and oil leaked all over the engine.
I paid for it. We drove home find. I filed a claim on Tuesday. It took 3 days for them to get back to me. Only to find out they were reimbursing me for a portion of the work done and none of my the time lost with my family.
Joseph who is the manager of the store is horrible with his customer service. Not once was he apologetic about the matter. I had to follow up with him 3 times to get an update. He is incompetent of his job.
Find another oil change company because this one is hot garbage with a horrible manager running the store.
Now, Valvoline is commenting on my review. The claim was not resolved to my expectations. I requested to talk to the area manager multiple times without a phone call. This company is horrible. The customer service is the worst I've ever...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAttention! Be extremely vigilant! This service is run by scammers! I needed to do an oil change, I told the manager exactly what services I needed to do, plus I also knew that I was entitled to 226$. At some point, I saw that were doing something with my radiator, and just at that moment, the manager came up and asked for payment, although the work continued, it seemed strange to me, usually they immediately give a check for work, but he was not, opening a personal bank account, I found that the amount of $ 347 was deducted !! Conda workers finished conjuring on my compressor and said that. I can leave, I asked for a check, because I said that the sum differed very much from the one that was agreed upon for the work. the manager started to get nervous and grinning, started to read the invoice for the work, and oh gods, what do you think he didnāt want to read, but missed with his finger - of course, the point where work was done on my radiator for - $ 129.99, to which he said that he thought that I would need it in the future and took care of me without asking me to do the work for my money, without my knowledge. I said that he can't do that, he grinned even more and started counting, where he indicated all the works without discounts, which I counted when I came to use this particular service. In general, a fraud, be careful, always ask for a check for work! +UPD: I want to add that after work, the entire engine compartment was splashed with oil after work, the white body of my car was covered in black oil prints from hands and my left headlight was crackedš”, as I watched the worker lie down with all his weight on the body of the car and headlights during ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLooking back at what I thought was a good car oil change. I regret taking my car to Valvoline. How do you sleep at night knowing you are damaging someoneās car on purpose? I used to buy my oil and filter at Advanced Auto Parts and paid someone to do my oil change in South Austin TX. They did everything in the open. They drained out the old oil and added the new oil, and I went back home with an empty bottle. My car had a good performance. When I moved to Leander TX, I decided to check out Valvolone becuase it sounded convenient. But they did the opposite. I had to stay in the car which was not a big deal. They sent me home with a half bottle of oil and I thought that was suspicious. And they discouraged me from bringing my own oil.
Now looking back I can not believe how wicked that was. My car started having engine problems. I began to wonder if they drained the old oil? Or if they even put the right oil to begin with? Why can't they display their prices or let the customer see what they are doing to their car. I am venting because I am angry.
Oil changing stations should have a way to show the customer that they are removing the old oil, and they should show that they added a full oil change bottle. It is very important to replace old oil and put in new oil to help maintain your carās engine. I am putting this out here for everyone else but as for me, I will never use Valvoline Instant Oil Change. The "Instant Oil Change" sounds like fast food and it is not healthy for your car. It is easy to get but the damage may...
