Alim Hibachi Grill and Sushi Japanese Express — Restaurant in Leavenworth

Completely disappointed in Alim Hibachi Grill as it use to be one of my fav’s. Ordered the pick two Hibachi (steak/scallops). Asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare as in the past and received tiny diced up morsels of meat cut up in portions to feed a two year old, not to mention that it was cooked well done. The vegetables had no flavor which have always been a favorite of mine and the scallops didn’t have any color to them as if they were never even cooked on a hibachi grill. It seems as though this place has cut corners since it opened and depending on who is cooking that day will depend on what and the quality of food you will receive. They have even changed the Crab Rangoon recipe (which was absolutely amazing) they used when they originally opened up. Yes, I did call and let them know of my displeasure and that I will not...

This place is awful. Delivery drivers have to wait 30min+ just to get their delivery order handed to them. They hand out the orders to the wrong people and refuse to remake the orders. Don’t start making delivery orders until the delivery driver gets to the place. No time frame given on how long it’ll take to make the food. People are not very pleasant. Can’t understand you and you can’t understand them at all. Serve orders to customers who got to the place and ordered after you before they hand you your order. Would NOT recommend this place at all. Service here is horrible. Slowest food truck I know of in town or in general. Super awful experience every time...

March 1st, 2024 First time ordering from here, and I will be a returning customer. Ordered via Doordash in the evening. Arrived hot and fresh. Ordered the Hibachi combo with chicken, shrimp, and steak with rice. Added spring rolls and crab ragoons. All 10 out of 10. If you want some good local Japanese food. This is the place to order from.
