Awful. Awful.. Awful… Me and my friend were in the drive thru part today and there was a young GIRL “helping” us today. Except she wasn’t helping AT ALL. Every time my friend tried talking to her she would walk away with no patience. My friend has a severe stutter and when I say severe I mean she can barely say a full sentence. My friend was trying to order and any time she would spit out two words the worker would just walk away and got irritated. And then she got her manager who acted like a BOY. He came to the window and was completely rude to her saying “this is the second time you have come through this drive thru and caused problems making us go slow” WELL SIR MAYBE IF YOUR EMPLOYEE WOULD STOP WALKING AWAY WHILE MY FRIEND WAS TRYING TO ORDER MAYBE YOU GUYS WOULDN'T HAVE A LINE LIKE THAT WOULD YOU?! All she was doing was trying to talk. I almost cried for her I felt so bad. You guys need to learn PATIENCE. You guys need to learn that just because YOU don’t have disabilities and you’re able to talk perfectly fine that OTHER people may just have problems with that. She is AUTISTIC and has a STUTTER. When we left I had to pull over because she couldn’t breathe from anxiety after you guys were this way towards her. I was THERE so don’t go saying it didn’t happen. Next time I’m recording everything. DO...
Read moreWe ordered thru DoorDash so we paid to have it delivered. They messed up the order and I called him back to fix it, (keep in mind I am sick) I asked him why he sent out 3 orders of MEDIUM onion rings when we paid for 3 LARGE orders and I asked him to send them through door dash, he said he could but I could come and pick them up, I explained I had already paid to have them delivered , this was their fault, he said there was nothing he could do! I called the door dash driver to ask her if she could go back to pick them up and she said yes. I called Sonic back and he answered the phone and just hung up with out saying a word. I called him from my husbands phone and asked him if he hung up on me and he quietly said Yes you were mean to me!! I told him door dash was coming back to fix the order if he could get them ready.. I told him I was sick, and asked him to get them ready that the driver was coming back for the food. And said good bye! We called back when the food never came and he hung up on us again! He showed the most unprofessional and immature behavior I have seen from a manager to date! So I guess they basically stole the money, he even had me count the amount of onion rings that were in the bag. Quite literally a child manager with no professionalism...
Read moreThe new Sonic has a much improved entrance and parking compared to the previous one. The new playground is great for kids while you can order and eat at nearby covered tables. Just be prepared for the sand in your kids shoes if they wear them! That being said, unfortunately, my experience there with my two grandsons was less than perfect. I was told to pull up to the window before I was finished ordering with no explanation (I later found out the speaker was malfunctioning) , and when I got to the window, I told them I would try to remember what I was going to order since ther was no menu at the pay window. The manager the suggested I go around again, but after looking behind me and seeing the line, I told them no. They then said I could pull it a stall and finish my order. That defeats the purpose of the drive through I thought, and then after I finished my order, they then overcharged me for the special that day! That took an additional 5 min to get straightened out. So the place is nice to look at, and if you don't mind the usual snafu with the drive thru, it's ok. The food is typical Sonic, which isn't bad as long as it hasn't been sitting, so be sure and go when it is busy, so you know it is fresh. Ironically, that is when you will have to...
