Grabbed take out on a Friday evening. I ordered the Mandarin Lo Mein. My wife ordered Mongolian Beef and my step son ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. We also ordered Hunan egg rolls and crab Rangoon. I recently relocated here from Florida and I hadn’t been here yet. It was closed for the longest time and I believe it’s still take out only. So it’s a busy night so we decided to give it a shot. I’m not going to beat around the bush. The Hunan Egg Rolls were so greasy that the only thing you could taste was grease. Like dripping in grease. The crab Rangoon was very bland. The out shell was good though. Going out on a limb ordering the Mandarin Lo Mein and I gotta say that it was very bland. No seasoning and a very dark noodle that tasted weird. Not like any I’ve ever tasted before. My wife said her Mongolian Beef was terrible. My step son said we should just went elsewhere. And I have to agree. Definitely pass...
Read moreI saw the “4 star reviews” and dismissed the negative reviews. Bottom line up front, look at the 1 star reviews before you order! Tried this place and was extremely disappointed. What I received for the over priced amount I paid for was crazy. Small portions, old reused fried rice, and nasty egg foo young (wasn’t normal Chinese food egg foo young and made my stomach upset). I was upset that there are no leftovers because small portions and many bland, unappetizing items I ordered. Egg foo young; nasty. Fried rice; yesterday’s rice with extra soy sauce. Egg drop soup; my son said it tasted like blood…metallic (I unfortunately agreed and dumped it down the sink). Beef and broccoli was good but the portion was too small for 13.95. Overall, I will not eat here again and will drive to Platte City for Chinese food (assuming the place I like will make egg foo young despite being busy). Anyway, don’t waste...
Read moreNot a good experience overall first red flag was an empty parking lot and when I walked in the restaurant and no body came out for 5 minutes I asked for a Mai Tai and the young man at the front did not know what it was and said he doesn’t have it, I asked for a cranberry and vodka and they couldn’t make that, the food quality was very poor, My General Tso’s chicken was watery and very bland, The broccoli looked very old and it wasn’t even cooked Our crab Rangoons had no crab meat in it, my food came out 10 minutes before my wife’s did so she was watching me eat. She got cashew chicken and the closest thing I can relate it to is wet dog food. You can tell they microwave the food due to it being an uneven temperature throughout the meal. The rice is very unflavored and super dry. Overpriced for low quality food so now I’m $60 poorer than before still hungry so now I have to go to McDonald’s I...
