Appletree Restaurant — Restaurant in Lebanon

Got a burger and fish and chips, tried the soup of the day which was turkey bisque. The burgers and fish basket were alright for the price, but the waitress couldn't really remember the difference between the lunch "basket" and dinner fish and chips in terms of size or what they come with to justify the difference in price when I asked. The soup was gelatinous and weird texture and appearance, but tasted good. We also sat near the door to the room with the soda fountains and windows to the kitchen, and I saw a waitress use a glass cup to scoop ice out of the ice maker, instead of an actual scoop, which to my knowledge is a big no-no since the glass could break in there and it would blend in with the ice. The waitresses were kind though, and seemed to recognize their regulars and greet them by name.

There are probably a few things worth getting here, and most of my gripes are probably gonna vary depending on who's working, but there are definitely better restaurants in the same price range...

Appletree Restaurant has, in my opinion, the best of everything a restaurant can offer when you walk through the doors you're greeted promptly by smiling friendly waitresses that are very knowledgeable about customer service and the very impressive menu that Appletree Restaurant offers you can order breakfast anytime of the day or dinner at noon the food is delicious anytime the serving portions of any dish will not disappoint you all the menu prices are very reasonable and comparable to other area restaurants Appletree server's are fast and efficient friendly and attentive always making sure your taken care of promptly the atmosphere is always quiet and relaxing leaving you feeling like your enjoying your meals at home if your just passing through Lebanon or live in the area I highly recommend giving Appletree Restaurant and lounge a visit to satisfy all your appetite needs you won't be disappointed with your experience!! Very below average food. Our waitress must have had a bad day because she made the experience worse with her short attitude. The food is plopped out of cans, frozen chicken fried steak pucks and they use bags of gravy. It's not worth going here if you want a nice sit down breakfast joint and especially for the price. Sadly the older folks think this is a good place but if you like food with flavor and not food from cans and bags, stay far away. I review lots of restaurants and this is my lowest rating I've ever done for a restaurant.
