Captain D's — Restaurant in Lebanon

I'm local and have NEVER had a good experience here, but, let's just talk about the last one, MY LAST VISIT. I'LL NEVER GO BACK ,,, why ? ,,,, In past experience I know the wait is going to be long so we ORDERED AND PAID ON LINE to speed things up. It takes 15 min to drive there so they said it would be ready. It wasn't. I told her on the intercom that we ordered on line she sounded confused and said pull on up to the window. After waiting LITERALLY 15 min in line, when we got to the window IT WASN'T READY !!!! She even asked what we had ordered!!! They were clueless as to what we ordered !!!! She said, please pull up and we'll get you order ready. By this time I had had enough waiting and told them I wanted my money back, she said they CAN'T REFUND MY MONEY !!! By this time I was MAD !!! And for good reason !!!! So I went inside and she said they were hurrying to get our food ready. I said I don't want the food now, I want my money back. She said I have to GO ONLINE to get my money back. As I said on their Facebook page ,,,, this place needs to be plowed under. Build a REAL restaurant in its place. Bad food, dirty lobby, nasty bathrooms,,,,, yeah, I'm telling everyone I meet, save your money, go...

After getting so tired of horrible service at Applebee's, I decided I wasn't going back anymore. All I ever want is a simple piece of Salmon and some Mac&Cheese. At Applebee's even if you aren't getting any of the sides for the fish, you still have to pay for them and a little pathetic bowl of Mac & Cheese is close to $4. The fish is barely OK. The broccoli is beyond boring as are their potatoes.

I really wanted a piece of Salmon today and on a long shot I went into to Captain D's. Not only did they let me get the salmon a'la carte for $4.99, it also came with a delicious herb rice and sauce, but I was also able to get an affordable bowl of mac & cheese. The salmon had a wonderful light spice on it, perfectly cooked, the sauce was amazing too. I can NOT believe I've been fighting with Applebee's this whole time and I could have gotten better service, better food at a better price right down the road at Captain D's. I will be coming back for sure!

The worst food experience I've had in Lebanon Mo. The food was NOT FRESH and not prepared well! I ate there several months back and said I would never eat there again. Today's experience was worse and food not edible. We eat at a Captn Ds on Sunshine Street in Springfield Mo and the food is fresh and the quality very good. It is a difference between day and night. You would not believe they were the same franchise or same company! Someone needs to address the bad quality of Cap'n Ds in Lebanon. I was afraid to eat the coleslaw. It wasn't cold and tasted old. The fish was not fresh and had a heavy bread crumb like coating instead of the light and tasty fish with cornmeal like coating from the Springfield restaurant. The hush puppies were greasy and fried in old oil. The only thing edible was the shrimp.! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT LIKE THE PLAGUE until they bring the quality up. It tasted like what I would imagine eating out of a garbage...
