Lebanon Laclede County Library — Attraction in Lebanon

We absolutely loved this place until we were wrongfully charged a $40 cleaning fee for 20 books (we never even checked that many out) and claiming that my kids trashed the library, which definitely never happened. My kids know to leave things cleaner than they found them. Bradley was called over to help explain the costs (the girl helping me hadn't even seen something like that before) and he briefly expl the costs and said there was "no way we can refund that" and walks away. I even had them look at the books I was bringing back and they were in excellent condition. They are either money hungry, delusional, or confusing us with someone else. I love our library! They have different amenities inside which can be fun to explore. The staff is always kind and helpful. I love being able to browse and place books on hold from online or using the Libby app as well if a book is checked out or unavailable for whatever reason.
