The staff was very nice so I really hate to leave such a bad review but while still (partially) edible this was hands down the worst Chinese I've ever had. The rice was crunchy, the eggroll kind of just fell apart as the huge, lengthy strips pulled out with every bite and my chicken... My precious sesame chicken! Mostly small crunchy chunks with no insides but even worse were the pieces actually containing chicken! "Can chicken be like this?" I silently screamed in my head. It was so stringy, I just couldn't rip, tear, shred or grind the meat with my pathetic human teeth. It actually scratched my throat on the way down. I had to stop eating a little over a third of the way in. I may return because of the other reviews being so positive, maybe it was a one off but phew, that was... Really bad.

Read more1/1/25 i believe the owners have changed recently or over the past year? We skip the buffets and do Chinese food take out for New Years tradition. China One still has exceptional American Chinese food. The boneless pork ribs, pork fried rice, Mie Fun, lo mein and crab ragoon are done really well! The meat on a stick, chicken & beef teriyaki were both not really on the mark for teriyaki flavor and the beef was bubble gum chewy. I will not say that it's the BEST Chinese I've ever had but I still enjoy the food very much, just wish there was more vegetables in the fried rich and noodles and sometimes I would like to have a more powerful flavor from the General Tso's chicken. However, I still eat here often and enjoy it every time. The crab rangoons are great and if you enjoy spicy food then give the Singapore...
