Lucky's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lee

Service is horrible. 19 year old who cannot take orders correctly, has an attitude, sits on a stool, messes up more than half the orders with no apology, curses in front of the window, and half the items on the menu are not available with no signs on the menus. Asked to fix all the mistakes and instead of fixing the mistakes, has the excuse that he is a child and does not do anything but argue with customers instead of fixing the errors. Our group ordered before another and they were served before us, they handed us the other groups ice cream that had nuts! We did not take the cup off the counter like they accused us when we complained; they literally handed it to a person in our group and said “here you go”. Thank goodness I’m not allergic to walnuts, but I am allergic to other kinds of tree nuts. Thank goodness there were no issues, but I’m still waiting for...

On July 7, 2024 (today) at 4:04pm I went for the first time to Lucky’s. The guy who took my order wasn’t pleasant at all and he charged $5 for a small ice cream that said $4.50 (chocolate lover chocolate) on the “menu”… I’m looking at him pressing some buttons on his end and I looked at my screen where you tap your card to make a payment and I see that the price changes to $6. I observed that the box where it says 20% tip was highlighted. He added the tip to himself.

More than lucky this a scam place. $1.50 over is nothing to me but think about if this male is doing that to every customer he gets, how much extra money his taking to his pocket?

I really wanted to love this place. It's cute, the flavor combinations are inventive, and the price seemed reasonable. The location is nice with a good view and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the actual ice cream tastes like they use more milk than cream, leaving it thinner and more icy than I personally prefer. I've been spoiled by the fact that my local independent ice cream shop makes ice cream in the upper ranges of midrange ice cream (not super premium, but nice and creamy none the less). This ice cream was definitely in the lower range. If you have kids or it's really hot or just don't mind this kind of not very creamy ice cream, then the flavors were great. But if you're someone who really enjoys ice cream, you might be happier getting a pint of the good stuff at the...
