Finders Keepers — Local services in Lee

I entered the store this morning at approximately 8:50 AM, the door was wide open. Shortly, thereafter an employee, let me know that the store was not open yet, but that I could browse but not be shown anything in any cases if I wanted to see anything. I went up and down an aisle. I saw a high boy dresser and opened a drawer and closed it. There were a pair of mid-century modern end tables/nightstands in the window. I opened a drawer of one of those as well and then looked the piece over for a price tag and did not see one. (Side note, I was interested in these because my son is closing on a new house on Monday and goes for a mid-century modern vibe and needs to furnish his whole house.) As I turned around and started up the next aisle, the same employee that talked to me earlier exclaimed to another employee in an exasperated, loud voice saying “ I don’t know why people open drawers on things that they have no intention of buying! They open drawers and then things get broken and they have no intention of buying anyway!” I was shocked, and after I gathered my thoughts, I said “ Are you talking about me?” She said “yes, people come and they open and close drawers and then things get broken and they lift up lids on casserole dishes and put them down too hard and they break! Finders Keepers is one of the best antique stores in the Berkshires! Its ever-changing eclectic mix of antique, vintage, and everything in between ensures fresh merchandise at very reasonable prices-I should know, as I've shopped here multiple times over the past several years!

Michelle and staff are also so incredibly friendly! Within the span of my shopping trips, I often hear FK staff seamlessly go from helping a customer with a question, to recommending good restaurants/entertainment venues, to inquiring about customer vacations in the area, to just exchanging pleasantries.

As I entered the shop on December 6th around noon a shop worker was loudly complaining that someone moved the bags. She continued to loudly explain how she liked things to be and even used profanity. The other shop worker tried to calm her but she was going to announce her unhappiness to the whole shop no matter what.
