I came in an hour before closing and they were very welcoming. Server was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The seafood bisque was good with a few large chunks of lobster claw. The baked haddock entree was outstanding; served sizzling in a cast iron skillet and loaded with flavor from the tomato and gorgonzola. The vegetable side was fresh and perfectly seasoned and the fries were crispy, though they needed a little salt. The apple crisp tasted good, but I felt some of the oats were undercooked and a little hard on the teeth. If you're tall, watch your head in the bathroom - I clipped mine on the "doorframe" to the raised toilet when stepping down. Overall, this place was a welcome respite to a weary traveler and well within the standards for a decent restaurant.

In town for a few days and actually planned on going to a different restaurant but on the way spotted this one. They have their seafood right! Clam chowder was perfect texture. The lobster roll had an option of being served cold (with mayo & celery) or warm with melted butter. The latter was delicious with some very big lobster pieces. I left behind half the roll - too much bread would have taken away from the lobster. But apparently my husband's tuna taco may have even been more delicious than my roll - I want to come back just so I can order it. Skipped the dessert, it was too heavy (mostly cakes) after an already big meal, some lighter options would be better.

I have nothing but positive things to say. All the staff were friendly and provided great service. You do need a reservation; however, they were able to get us in. They also do takeout. It’s a busy restaurant and it’s because all of the food is so good. We had the shrimp snd scallop alfredo. I had it with no pasta. You will not regret going to this restaurant if you are in the Berkshire area. They are also clean and have COVID precautions in place.

For years, save for the time we sheltered in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic, my family always loves visiting this area of the Berkshires, and have lost count on how many times we've been coming to this place for dinner. Unfortunately, this summer 2023 was not it, and left even before we could sit on the table. For starters, we just got out of the room after checking in the hotel. My family did not have a reservation, and walked in. I stood next to the front door slightly open, and was told by the host to shut it off and I apologized and complied. it wasn't what she said that turned me off, but how she said it. I initially decided not to make a big deal out of it. There were also two parties waiting ahead of us. As soon as one of the parties got called to get seated, the other party - a South Asian couple - spoke out per their claims that they were there first. The staff somehow managed to create another table, and both parties got seated at the same time, which was admirable. I believed the couple that arrived first deserved an apology, but did not hear a single word from the staff. When it was our turn to get seated, we were informed that the only way we could have a table was outside. While I personally don't mind outdoor seating, a "no thanks" response seemed appropriate. My family walked out and decided to dine elsewhere. Once again, it wasn't what was said to us, but it was how...

This place deserves every star plus 5 more! Yesterday my daughter and I checked in for a 5:30 reservation that somehow never made it to the hostess' list. I knew they were busy, especially the kitchen and I could see ladies running to-go orders out but the hostess graciously accommodated us anyway. The next thing that caught my eye was the cleanliness and their level of attention to following all of the safety guidelines. Our server (I really wish I could remember her name) was so sweet. Within 10 mins or so, our appetizers were out. We had crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms. The crab cakes were REALLY good! The seafood stuffing in the mushrooms was really rich but I think that might've just been personal. Our entrees came out just as we were finishing our apps. I had the salmon alfredo and my daughter had the baked lazy man's lobster. Our food was delicious but we had to take most of it to go because we were both so sleepy. Everyone there was so so so nice! My goodness! After the week we just had, the level of kindness we experienced yesterday at Salmon Run Fish House, really really goes a long way! We hope to dine with them again - next time I think we'll try the fried foods. Overall, our experience was...
