Panda Garden — Restaurant in Lee

Read the reviews and I was a little worried so I wanted to set the record straight. I ordered 8 items and the family shared all of them. It was tricky communicating with them because of their english but we got it worked out ok. I ordered very late and they stayed later then they are normally opened to make my food. It was a very reasonable price and EVERY plate was AWESOME. they didn't give me the second house lo mien but I'm not sure they even charged me for it. I don't give many two star reviews, but this was disappointing on multiple levels. The person at the counter wasn't particularly friendly, the restaurant itself wasn't very clean ( admittedly, it is an older place). But the food I ordered was terrible, the beef was completely tasteless, and the sauce wasn't the right kind of sauce for the entree that I ordered. The sauce should have been garlic, but it was very sweet, almost mustardy, and did not taste very good. I will say that the broccoli was very fresh tasting, but that was it. There are plenty of other mom and pop restaurants...

For anyone commenting on how ‘dirty’ the place is not sure if you’ve ever been to a decent Chinese place but there’s two ways to tell good from bad... one is the menu displayed above it should feature a 90s menu that seems to be wearing out on all sides, second the place looks dirty. Best Chinese food I’ve ever had looks like a place that grease grows on walls. This is great Chinese and no “yelp veteran” is going to give you an accurate answer.
