I used the mobile app to order my breakfast. I checked I would pickup order in drive thru. At the order speaker I let them know I had a mobile order and my name. The response was a rude “alright pull around.” When I arrived at the window the woman puts her hand out for payment and I said I had a mobile order. She said “ I don’t know nothing about no mobile order.” Then there was loud discussion back and forth with the woman wearing the headset. The woman wearing the headset kept saying “I sent it over”. Apparently, there has not been adequate training with mobile ordering. Then the woman working the window told me I would have to wait 8 minutes on the apple pies I ordered and I hear another lady yelling 1 minute on the apple pies. Then the woman working the window tells me I have to pull up and wait for my order bc there are people in line behind me. Every time they have asked me to pull up and wait I have had to go in and ask for my order bc they forget or no one wants to bring the order out, so I said No, I’ll wait right here, I ordered this from my house, came through the drive thru and identified my order. The person was rude to me and never bothered saying thank you. Then they went and got Samantha who yelled at me that I needed to pull up and wait on my order bc mobile orders don’t get made until you identify at the drive thru window. She continued yelling at me and I asked to speak to a manager and she said I am the manager. The mobile app is supposed to make the process smoother for the customer and the business. Why would my mobile order take more time to make than if I ordered at the drive thru?? I’ve been coming to this Hardee’s for years for breakfast and they have always been polite. Today, every staff member I spoke to was rude and hostile! All I did was use a service Hardee’s offers and encourages customers to use and was mistreated by the staff. There apparently needs to be training on customer service and the mobile app...
Read moreIt's been 30 years since I've been in a Hardees, where I live and travel there just aren't any around, and after this visit will be my last visit. At lunch time I watched as meals were being prepared for a bunch of customers in front of me. Most of the food was going into the microwave, including toppings like mushrooms, why? Interestingly, 1 group of customers ordered shakes and they started out in the microwave first, why? Then placed on the side counter where the employee poured about a 1/2 inch of milk on top of what was then microwaved again (I'm assuming to soften from being frozen). Why is a microwave being used in this hardees at all, when all food should be cooked freshed and kept warm until disposing to prevent food illnesses.
The overall quality of my meal was awful, the burger was rubbery, thin, and small for the high price. Fries where thin and hard, the worse. The young man making the food is unaware that this restaurant is a fast food restaurant and was taking lots of time preparing the food as though this was a Michelin star restaurant, lots of customers including myself waited a really long time for our meals I asked if this Hardee's had just opened up, no I was told.. Simply awful.
2025-01-08 Update, I just read the response posted asking me to elaborate on my review, no I'm not wasting my time doing this because the detail in this review explains exactly what happened, I live 5 hrs away, and because of this visit I will NEVER visit another Hardees again - Never. This brand should close, it's providing substandard foot and terrible customer service. I remember many years ago when it was only an okay burger restaurant with good shakes, now forget it, there are too many better competitors such as Five Guys with fresh food where nothing is microwaved. Hardees, it is time to go bankrupt and close all the restaurants - what you are serving up to...
Read moreWell the food in my opinion always tastes good .. my fiance and I love going there for breakfast.. and usually get good service.. but this morning and one other morning I tried redeeming my points on the app for an item and because the older lady in the drive thru or the other slimmer black lady with long braids couldn't figure out how to scan the QR code ... Which is quite simple.. and it works better if you point the scanner at the QR code.. but what do I know... They tried to make me pay for the item I was trying to redeem and then caught an attitude with me because they couldn't figure it out and when I tried to politely tell them they weren't pointing the scanner at my phone they were pointing it at something else they just threw the scanner down and told me what I owed... I asked them to remove the item I was redeeming and I'll just pay for the other items that was an issue.. I don't want anything for free but better customer service and better training for employees.. times are changing and if your gonna work in today's world you need to know how to work with the apps on people's phone if your not willing to learn then you need to making food or cleaning something... Thanks for interactions this morning yall nailed...
