First of all The service from the waiter was excellent The food was disgusting Tortillas We're cold It felt like they literally just got them out of the plastic package and put them in a foil paper completely cold the food that I order which it was a plate a state plate a No flavor whatsoever No Soul no flavored nothing My son order a chimichanga plate Flavor In the outside but it was super salty in the inside If you were to ask would I recommend this restaurant to anybody because it's Cess and the sign outside That it is authentic Mexican food it is not It is definitely not authentic Mexican food It is more like Tex-Mex And really Tex-Mex I lived in Texas for 15 years In this Is one of the worst text message that you could ever have Now the waiter did an excellent job I show him the tortillas That they brought in for me He was completely Accepting the mistake that they made in the kitchen De horchata was eh okay I would say now if you would like to eat some really good Mexico food plates or tacos there is a place and Leesburg is called La Plazita That is the best that ever had including ice cream in food it has been recently opened And that is the reason that I was looking for a Mexican place but I was eastern Sunday and they were close and that's the only reason that I ended up at this restaurant I apologize to anyone who goes there thinking that this is Mexican food Mexican food that's not taste like this you guys can go verify it on your own maybe American people will be okay by eating food like cold and flavorless not a Hispanic person especially not a Mexican would I ever come back to the restaurant no I would rather go eat Taco Bell instead of this place I would never go back again it was a one-time experience and I will...

I can't believe there are only 5 other reviews for them since they open back in Jan 23 7 months ago. BEST server any restaurant I've ever eaten at. Lisa took our order for 3 combos and of course the combos were all different with special requests. She was repeating what we said, I noticed she didn't write anything down. I asked her about it. She said it comes with practice. No, she's just really bright and smart. Excellent personality. Very attentive. She came back to see how we were doing several times even though she was super busy. Big plus for me is excellent service, which we got. The owner lucked out when they hired her. She got EVERYTHING correct. Waitress' that wrote everything down at other restaurants we've visited can't even do that all the time lol. Ok, now the food. Oh my gosh. I lived out west with "authentic" Mexican Restaurants all over the place and this one lives up to it's name. EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT. The food was delicious. Many Mexican restaurants won't cook a chili relleno, because it takes too much time to make. Luna Azul does though, and it was EXCELLENT. The margarita I got was delicious as well. Everyone of us really enjoyed the meal. As you can see in my pics I finished EVERYTHING on my plate. Our family recently visited Luna Azul Authentic Mexican Restaurant for a casual dinner. While the restaurant wasn't packed, it had a good atmosphere. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which is understandable without a reservation.

Our server was friendly, but there were a few aspects of the service that could be improved for families. For example, the adult-sized drinks brought for the children didn't have lids, which could be a safety concern. Additionally, all the plates, including the children's meals, came out very hot.

The portion sizes felt a bit on the small side for the price, and there were a couple of minor mix-ups with our orders. One fajita salad included a piece of chicken unexpectedly, while another fajita had a noticeably smaller portion of meat.

Finally, towards the end of the meal, while one child was still eating, their plate was cleared by the server. It might have been helpful to check with the table before removing a full plate.
