McDonald's — Restaurant in Lehi

OVERVIEW - 4.0 I've been here a few times primarily through the drive thru. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment, because I keep coming back for some obnoxious reason.

LOCATION - 5 Located on the corner of Main Street and 850 East is a prime location for good traffic, especially considering it is right off the freeway. The major issue they have is busy traffic getting backed up from people pulling into their property.

PRICE - 5 It's McDonalds, they pride themselves on cheap price and quality!

PRODUCT/SERVICE - 2 Almost every time I leave the drive thru I'm flustered with the person taking the orders. For example, today I had a coupon for a buy one get one free sandwich, I explained that I wanted to do that and then add a meal onto it. The guy taking my order told me they couldn't do it as a meal, and I responded how I was aware of that, and that's why I wanted to add a meal onto the sandwich. I guess you can't expect perfection for close to minimum wage...

POINTERS/PERKS - 5 If you deviate from the Menu even to the slightest degree, the likelihood of major problems with your order are likely to ensue.

EMPLOYEES - 3 I have mixed feelings about the employees. Some are genuinely nice and others are somehow present and working hard to survive the mornings... It really crushes my heart when I see elderly employees as I'm sure they're there because they need the money.

BONUS: I want to tell you a story about the old lady in the drive thru. This McDonalds has two drive thrus. There was an elderly lady that was working her way through, as was I. I had an opportunity to merge into the one lane, I looked at her and had the stereotype that she was elderly (looked like her mid 60's), general grandma type of woman. I thought she would allow me to work my way into the one lane, but as our eyes met, she pushed her way forward cutting me off. Then as I waited, she was constantly distracted and allowed so much space between her car and the car in front of me. I don't know what was so distracting, honestly it reminded me of a teenage with their phone, but looking at her with my stereotypes, I'm sure she didn't have a phone, nor really knew how to use one... Morale of the lesson, when it comes to early morning drive thrus at McDonald's be mindful of old grannies, they are extremely aggressive, and lack the attention...

4/12/2019 EXPERIENCE: I think I will deduct one whole star for my experience yesterday. When I came in before work in the morning around 7:20am, the electronic kiosks were all down (some kind of message was on the screen about them not working)(this is my typical way of ordering), and a massive line was in the lobby. After finally getting up to the register I made my purchase. When my order came up, I decided to ask about the kiosks and why they were down. I tried to get the attention from whom I believe was the manager and he completely blew me off and ignored me. I know they were busy but a simple 15 seconds could have gone a long way. I did here one of the employees call him out by name, it was either Jair or Javier. Terrible, terrible, customer service from upper management. It'll be a long while if I ever come back to...

Oh 😳 they say just one but actually I should have been given four counting this corona virus. I was also a hero as well saved the ship I was on USS Ashland LSD 48 and stopped a major fuel oil leak in the main machinery room number one. While everyone was sitting around in the cool air conditioning control panel room even master chief. I Gatekeeper Jesus Christ Amen stood a proper watch and reported it after about 12 gallons of JP5 jet fuel was leaking out into the bilge below the engine room. I saved master Chiefs job. But I should have received an award for recognition as well 👍. Oh Heavenly father. Yes Son. Why? Is it hard to find an awesome LDS woman that wants to marry an awesome 😎 guy like me. Well son you choose to Serve your Country and Honor the flag. But isn't service the same as going on a mission and back. Yes my son but the woman are taught to marry a returned missionary. BEWARE: DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION! 48 S 850 E, Lehi, UT 84043 They are unclean and unprofessional and likely spreading the corona virus to hundreds of people every day with unsafe food handling practices. Jordan is the manager on shift, and not wearing a mask. Very poor customer service from the moment I ordered my food. The girl at the window told me I had to go back out to the pickup area to wait after having to go through the drive thru, as curbside pickup is unavailable, so she could clear the timer and "keep her job". Because I stayed at the window, she told me I would just have to wait anyway. She then took my food outside to the other cars waiting for their food, then brought it back inside and set it down on the counter, made drinks for the next few cars, then brought my food to the window to me. She then told me she did not take my food out to the other people, after I watched her do it, then told her manager she didn't realize I was still at the window. This store is very unclean and exposing people to possible infection of the corona virus. They hand people food before checking order names or numbers. They don't keep their masks on and they contaminate food by handing it to the wrong people and then take it back to give to the correct customer.
