I drove through the drive thru placed my order of 2 deluxe platters, I already new when placing my order the cashier didn't know what she was doing. I had asked if they still had the lobster sandwiches. No reply a few minutes later she said no. With those two platters I asked for okra and corn. Because we dont like Captain Ds Cole slaw. I was on my car phone and told my daughter n law that I need to check my order this girl just asked me for my pin number. I waited for 10 minutes in the drive thru. I looked over my platters before leaving. Not surprised that there was a Cole slaw n fry. I asked the young girl how long it wld be. Another 4 minutes, I told her I have already waited to long and pulled off. When I got home my crab cakes where misssing!!! Read moreI went to Capt D's today and while at the drive thru window I noticed a sign that said starting Aug 2nd they are going to charge their customers if they pay with debit or credit card. So i nicely ask the girl if it was because the bank was charging them and she said she didnt know but would ask the manager. The red haired manager came to the window and man she must of been having a BAD DAY, cause she point blank fired me up. She said its only 3cents on the 1.00 and its only a 1.50 more if you spend 50.00 and I said well to some people who have already spent alot of money that horrible charging more. Read moreWas in Litchfield for a doctors appointment and we were hungry. We went to 2 different restaurants… one was, not clean. The 2nd one had no buffet or inside dining. Captain D’s looked so clean and inviting from outside and we both love fish… inside was clean, all the workers looked nice and we were greeted with a smile and, “Welcome, to Captain D’s!” The food was hot, fresh and delicious. As we were eating I noticed an older lady sweeping and a neatly dressed young man, that also worked there.
