I keep coming back to this place although I originally went to the one in Point Loma / Ocean Beach. The servers here are always nice and the food is predictably good. The one thing I go here for and always order is the guacamole taco although I have frequently got the carne asada chips with guacamole also. I've tried other things and everything has been good but those are my favorites. I don't know of any other restaurant that serves a guacamole taco and if they do I'm sure it isn't nearly as good as the one here. It's always delicious and I look forward to coming back for it! The place always looks clean. There's plenty of parking in the lot next door where the Jo-Ann's used to be and the GT M is located now. And their prices are still very reasonable. I paid $8 for two tacos. Anytime you can get a meal for under $10 these days,...
Read moreI thought the meat lacked a little flavor and the green salsa could be thicker. I came here since I was working in the area. This was my first time eating at this place. I got the california burrito, and added beans. They gave me no problem with adding beans and I dont think they even charged me for it. I got my burrito pretty quick. The tortilla was good, thin, but strong and flavorable, the beans and cheese were good and flavorable, just the meat was kinda plain, and the green salsa was watery, I kept pouring more on to add flavor. I still give them a 3/5 stars. If they work on adding a little more flavor to their carne asada and thicker salsa, this place would be a 5/5 star.
Ps. The green salsa can be...

I've had many things on the menu but frankly, their bean and cheese burritos are far from SUS, in fact, they are one of the best B&C burritos in San Diego and a very healthy portion. Ask for "all three salsas" to get an amazing selection of flavourful condiments and spice. One thing that is frustrating is there tends to be a handful of homeless on their patio asking for food. Not Cotijas fault but they could be a little more aggressive. Also, keep in mind if you pay by card, you'll have to offer a...
