Jimbo's Pizza — Restaurant in Lemont Township

Tried to order a pizza with Italian Beef as a topping (listed on their website and in-person menu), person taking my order said they didn't have Italian Beef. So I ordered a Beef Pocket (which has Italian Beef), and a double dough pepperoni pizza. I can't prove it, but I think the dough was premade and then frozen. Physically, there was pepperoni and cheese, but you wouldn't know that by tasting it. There might have been a tablespoon of sauce on the whole thing. So, the pizza was a let down. Alright I’m gonna level with you here; this is the best pizza shop. The best. Take your favorite pizza place and completely disregard it because it doesn’t hold a candle to the pie that the folks at Jimbos will whip up for you. The sauce is that perfect medium-dark savory type that gives you that sweet sweet Umami moment, the cheese a perfect gooey/stringy tension that breaks at the perfect length (especially if you order it well done), and the CRUST. Ordered just some basic spaghetti from them a while ago and it was literally expired. I tried eating some and it made me sick that night. I called back and they promised somebody would call me back later and hopefully issue a refund. That never happened. I used to buy by the slice here during the week and it was great.
