Do NOT recommend! Very Americanized, Non traditional Thai food. Tip: If you don't see any asians eating at an Asian restaurant, its very likely not very good. People in Lemoore rating this place 4.7 stars have never been anywhere else with good thai food. I understand its a small town and this is all they have but this place is a disgrace to all southeastern asian people. The service was super slow! Took almost an hour to get my papaya salad and it wasn't even that busy in the dining area. However they were popping out take-outs like crazy. They also served two other tables with their food before us even though we had ordered first and all we ordered were salads! They also don't have Sticky Rice! What southeastern asian restaurant don't? When I finally got my papaya salad, almost an hour later, it was absolutely watered down, had hardly any seasoning nor flavor. My spouse's beef steak salad was served way before my salad, and it was very chewy and tough. He didnt get much meat at all in his salad. The meat quality was not very good. We also ordered chicken larb to go which was very watery. Surprisingly the larb wasnt that bad but it was unusually sweet than most larb dishes im used to. Other peoples food look dry as heck. The big group next to us were literally just quietly pecking at their food. They obviously didnt look like they were enjoying their food either. This place would be shut down if it was in Fresno. The waitress was nice but she didn't know anything about Thai food, even though she works there, so that didn't help either.
The restaurant however was nice and bathrooms were clean. It is located in a decent small shopping plaza that's not too busy.
Overall, I do not recommend this place. Very disappointed. First time and last time there. Thank goodness we're from...
Read moreFirst time coming here and it did not disappoint! Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to talk us through the spice ratings which can differ from restaurant to restaurant. We did a 2 on the chicken pad Thai, and a 3 on the yellow curry with chicken. Both were so delicious with just the perfect amount of spice for our taste. Some might like it a little spicier, but I like just enough spice to give the food flavor and not overpower the dish.
The true test was the Pho though. My husband and kids are Pho snobs so we hardly ever venture outside our usual Pho place. When I asked my 11 year old how’s the Pho she looked at me and said it’s good! I tasted it myself: broth was perfect, noodles were perfect, meatballs were a little more squishy than we are used to. At our usual place, the meatballs are a lot more firm. But the flavor of the meatballs was really good. So overall, the Pho passed the test. They even have chicken nuggets and fries and it was perfect for our 2 year old/7 year old to share. I’d seen good reviews when looking this place up, but being that it’s Thai food and we have picky eaters I wasn’t sure how it would go. I can honestly say that every single one of us enjoyed our food, and that’s not easy to accomplish when you have kids with you.
The restaurant itself appeared to be clean, neat, and orderly, so that was another plus. We would definitely come back if we ever happen to be Lemoore. Service was amazing, atmosphere was nice and clean. Food was 4 out of 5. Had the texture of the meatballs been a little more firm, it would be a 5 out of 5 on the food. Still though, highly...
Read morePad Thai at D St. is one of our favorites. In their new location, on hanford armona road, I went with the group for a birthday celebration, the new location is clean and has more room. Although, the food had no taste and was water down. The appetizer was the only good thing that they brought out. When we told the waitress, a lady that we didn’t recognize came out and said she was the owner. She said we can send the food back and they would take it off our bill. We told her that we were not trying to get free food and that we would pay the bill. We ask for more chicken wings to eat with the rice that we already had, because it was the only good thing on the table. We waited 15 or 20 minutes, while the employees were whispering and laughing about us. The owner finally came out and told us they were out of chicken. During this whole experience, the service was just poor. They didn’t refill drinks, their attitude was rude, they didn’t ask if we needed anything else and they acted as if there was something wrong with us for not liking the food. We won’t go back ever again. This makes us sad, because it used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Most of the original people and cooked are now at Thai Thai in hanford near Panera. That is where we will go...
