I’ve been a loyal customer here since the beginning, and I’ve always appreciated the warm hospitality from Sonny and his wife—they’re truly great people and have built something special. However, I feel compelled to share some ongoing concerns that have unfortunately impacted my recent experiences.
There is a staff member named Yada who often manages the restaurant in Sonny’s absence, and over the past two years, I’ve consistently encountered challenges when she is working. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, the issues I’ve experienced seem to be recurring rather than isolated.
For example, during my most recent visit with my wife, I placed a simple order for a white tuna hand roll, which was acknowledged but not fulfilled correctly—I noticed it was a crab roll on the screen instead. I politely pointed this out without frustration. Later, I also asked for a regular tuna roll (not spicy), and she did acknowledge. But was served spicy tuna. I also asked which clear sodas were available and was told “Coke and Dr. Pepper,” which was confusing and suggested a lack of attentiveness and active listening. And I did speak clearly without rude tonality. I always say ma'am, please and thank you.
More concerning than the mix-ups is the overall demeanor. I’ve often felt that my presence and requests are met with indifference or attitude, which creates a negative dining experience. It’s disappointing because the rest of the team is always welcoming, professional, and attentive, and I know the standard Sonny and his family have set.
I want to emphasize that I’m not writing this out of anger or malice—I truly care about this place and hope to continue dining here for years to come. My hope is simply that this feedback is received constructively. I’d be more than happy to update or remove this review if there’s a noticeable change in how guests are treated moving forward.

Read moreThis place is amazingly good. The owner Sunny is totally a very good person. He makes sure your order is on time, and especially if your satisfied with food. If you end up not liking what you order he gives you the opportunity to re order again but something that you May like of course. He makes sure his customers are well served and enjoy while sitting at his restaurant. Sunny will always say hi with a smile and ask you if you need anything else. The staff as well are the same way. I’m always ordering in or out from sushi table, no other good sushi around here but this one. I super love eating here all the time. Yesterday I tried their orange chicken for the very first time and let me tell you, it was amazingly delicious like no other, the texture of the chicken and sauce is sooooo perfect to the touch. The sauce is perfect and not to much either. You can count on my word that you will absolutely be happy and satisfied. You will love it just the way I did when I first step into this place. Once again amazing delicious food restaurant to eat and bring the...
Read moreFood is good, however it is disgustingly hot inside the restaurant. It's 103 outside and it's somehow feel better outside than inside the local. The place was empty and we waited about 30 minutes for our food. But the main issue is how uncomfortably hot it is inside. We had to leave and eat in our car because we were sweating just waiting for our food. I had asked an employee on another occasion (about a month ago) why it was so hot and their response was that the ac just doesn't work properly in the heat. Which is probably not the case since Boba island, their 2nd location, is just as hot. I think the owners are cheap and don't want to keep the a/c cool enough for it to be comfortable, but I mean it's a restaurant where people get off hoping to eat comfortably. While the food is decent, we won't be returning because of how freakin hot it is inside. No wonder it's always empty when...
