when I first moved to Leonia last year, I was anticipating on this deli to open so I can have closer access to food and snacks. Iāve been coming here CONSISTENTLY since they opened. In the beginning their prices were DECENT but as of recently Iāve noticed when I come in the pricing is something different EVERY SINGLE TIME. Now, I am not the one to throw the race card often but in this case I feel that as a young black female Iām being taken advantage of. Iāve always been sweet AND polite to the owner as well as his employees. Iāve ALSO made sure to leave tips when I have the extra cash. sadly today was the LAST TIME I will be stepping my foot in this establishment. On Monday 11/16 I ordered a turkey AND provolone sandwich. When I payed for my sandwich, chips, and drink the total came to $10? Which I thought was a little strange.. anyhow when I arrived home and took a bite of my sandwich it was NO CHEESE. I also asked for raw onion and NONE was added. I called the store to explain and I was told I could come in to get a remake for their inconvenience. I just went there TODAY 11/21 to get my remake and was sadly told LAST MINUTE that I would be receiving a ādiscountā on the sandwich rather than it being taken care of like I was told a few days earlier. The owner looked me dead in my face and said the sandwich will be $5 instead of the $6-7 that they originally price. For one the sandwich is NO WHERE NEAR worth that price! I can walk to Broad Ave and go to Happy Market and get a FULL sandwich UNDER $5. itās not about the food but more so the PRINCIPAL of the situation. The fact that I WAS a loyal customer why would you treat me and or the situation as such? Iāve been in the food industry 6 YEARS! And this NOT how you treat your LOYAL, PAYING...

ASK for you receipt to the delivery guy. Mayra provides extremely bad customer service and is VERY DISHONEST. She would ask if you want TIP to be charged to your card and even though you say NO, she would still charge without your consent. If you give cash tip the delivery guy will never mention you were already charged for it. Also, he won't give you the receipt. CREDITS ? forget about them, MAYRA will act as if she had amnesia and would never give it to you. Instead she will charge your card with unauthorized charges...
