Habaneros Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lewisburg

Was going to take my out of town children to Carlitos but after reading the reviews for Habaneros decided to try it. Wish we hadn’t. We went on a Saturday evening but it wasn’t very busy, yet service was totally lacking. This didn’t just seem to be for our table because the table beside us had ordered drinks and we overheard them ask for their check and when their actual waiter came to the table they explained that they had been sitting there for over a half an hour with no attention and were ready to leave. Our waitress wasn’t attentive either, and we had placed an order to go when ordering our in house meals that she forgot about but said she didn’t. Then instead of allowing us to pay while waiting on the order to be made she made us wait for the order to come out while another waiter came and reached over members of our party talking and not excusing himself. As for the food… the chicken in my chimichanga seemed fresh but there wasn’t much of it it was more comparable to the chicken Chipotle wrap from Taco Bell. Don’t look to have any leftovers from here if that’s what you’re accustomed to when eating Mexican. I will say that what was there was mainly good/fresh even if a little bland. The best thing going on in this trip was the cheese dip but that’s not really hard to get right. Sorry I don’t have better...

BEWARE!With family dinner time and had a few tables inside and one outside I personally ordered the pick three and asked for steak and got hamburger. Did not see the waiter much And when we did, he would always not look at any of his customers except to the one he was going to? I asked him three times for napkins he passed And that’s before we ordered because the salsa was getting all over the menu. It was very watery. And wanted to clean it up without putting my silverware on the table and finally a girl working there, heard me came up and gave me Some napkins and thank her Then one of my siblings had a fajita came out sizzling Station great, which was great, unfortunately it was burnt and she asked the waiter if he could smell the burnt taste even though we could smell it 🤔 He said oh no, it’s not burnt? before I left, I pulled out all the burnt pieces And was still in disbelief. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was very cute! Our service was friendly and the food was delicious and quick. I’ve seen some negative reviews about portions and menu descriptions. I think the reason for that may be they do not update their menu often? We ordered the Paraillda Mexicana, which was delicious but specifically was listed as having mushrooms in it (which I love) but did not have any in the dish. I think maybe they took the mushrooms out of the dish and didn’t update it on the menu. My only other critique is we order the Texas Dip which was outstanding, I just wish the queso was a little thicker. It was practically milk. Everything was not especially seasoned either but I think they may be catering to the demographic on that one. All in all, a lot of the things I liked and just a few...
