Truthfully, this was our first time eating here. I was so excited to try a new place, and even though I was told not to get my hopes up with all the recent reviews since the switch, my hopes were definitely exceeded and then some. We had an incredible dining experience at Trevina tonight! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the food was nothing short of spectacular. Our evening was made even better by our wonderful server, Wilbur, a delightful college student who truly went above and beyond. Wilbur was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He was engaging and had a great energy overall. His recommendations were perfect, and he made sure we had everything we needed with a genuine smile. The fried zucchini just hit the spot, and my husband’s dish of salmon, potatoes, and carrots was fantastic. But the burger for me was the show-stopper. I’m always on the lookout for a great go-to burger, and I think I’ve found it! I always joke with my husband about trying to remember our experience and if we liked what we ordered by adding it to my (non-existent) or at least in my memory, a food journal. (lol) There will be no forgetting this at all. Best burger I’ve had in a long time. This is my new favorite go-to place now. We also want to give a shout-out to the manager on duty, who took the time to talk with us. Their honest and inviting demeanor added a special touch to our evening. We did get the chocolate dream cake (in my opinion closest thing to a brownie on the menu lol), and it very much exceeded expectations too! (hint hint wink wink, put a great brownie on the menu ;-) lol) Oh! I forgot to add the water glasses were just so adorable! The texture was just so different and refreshing. If you're looking for a place with great food and to meet our very own Wilbur, head to Trevina. Save us a seat though because we can't wait to return!

I had a great experience here in 2023 and had been raving about it since. I really hope no one took that advice because I went again recently with a friend who was in town and honestly it was embarrassing! I should have known when I could have gotten a reservation at any time slot the day before. While before you had to book as soon as reservations came out. The place was empty for brunch on Sunday. Thought maybe it was because it was winter break. Nope, everything is completely different. First, there’s now a physical menu. Ok I get that. One of the reasons I didn’t bring my family there was because of having boomer parents, but I loved it when I was there with friends. You used to be able to order whenever and the food and drinks were out SO quickly. Things were shareable before. Now they don’t have “Tapas” and it is a very basic menu. Pricing is outrage for what it is!! As examples- $3.49 for a soda? $9 for two hot dogs and fries? $12 for these “crepes” (picture attached)? “Crepes”, unflavored potatoes, and an espresso martini was almost $40 with tip! They didn’t even have the lunch menu available and didn’t tell us until we were about to order (off of that menu). I was also super excited for their espresso martini (another thing I had been raving about since I had been there), and it was another let down. It’s a shame what this place turned into. I already was probably never going back. However after reading the comments from the owner back to the original Trevina customers that are giving their honest feed back, I will never be back. For people who hadn’t experience Trevina before, I can understand how it’s an okay experience. However, going in with 0 expectations, I’d never give that experience higher than a 3. If you’re going and expecting the old Trevina and want a more upscale experience this place is not it.

Trevina appears to be struggling with its identity. As fairly regular customers since it first opened, we left wondering if we’d ever return—or if we’d feel comfortable bringing visiting friends. What began as an upscale tapas restaurant has shifted into yet another deep fried yuck fest. The menu feels sparse and disjointed, now offering burgers, generic flatbreads, and random entrees that left us feeling like we settled for less. The under-seasoned, undercooked tuna was curiously paired with boiled corn. The burger (because they were out of the other entree) was fine, but I could have eaten that on any corner of Market street. Nearby, we couldn’t help but overhear a group of well-dressed women who seemed just as confused by Trevina’s new direction. Their eventual choice to share french fries was telling. While the hip mid-2000s music and beautiful decor still create a glamorous atmosphere, these now only serve to highlight the menu downgrade. Oh, and we're still stuck with those dissociative QR code menus that make you stare at your phone instead of engaging with your friends, date or reality itself. The servers are still friendly (and apologetic), but I was angry to learn they don’t receive tips! What is management doing with the tips? We may not know what happened/happening behind the scenes of Trevina, but we’re very concerned for its future. UPDATE: I keep checking the menu in hopes that management got their act together...NOPE. Either new management isn't reading all of the new negative reviews, or they're too proud and stubborn to make intelligent changes.

Several things stopped us from having a great experience like we've had in the past. The fact that the place was also fairly empty for a Saturday night and the recent mostly negative reviews lead me to believe others are not impressed with the changes either. I'm not sure how long ago ownership changed, but hopefully they can still turn things around. We likely won't be back in it's current state, but the Trevina of the past was a great addition to Lewisburg.

First, they have moved away from the QR code ordering system. There is now a paper menu and wait staff you need to order food with. This slows things down and forces you to wait for staff if you'd like to order food. The QR code ordering system along with the self pour tap system formed a unique identity for Trevina not available elsewhere in the local area.

Second, there are some issues with the tap system I never saw in the past. The first self pour tap I used was not properly calibrated. My glass was not even half full and it charged me for 22 ounces. There was a little difficulty getting this adjusted but ultimately they did. What was more concerning to me was that they knew which tap was having issues before I told them. Seemed like it was a known issue but they left it on knowing it could be overcharging customers. There were also two separate taps that had the same beer listed as the description.

Third, there are now separate hours for the beer wall and the venue itself. We were seated just before 9PM and given our pour cards as normal with no warning of this. At around 10 PM we were told that the beer wall closed at 9 PM. This was not accurate as we arrived shortly before 9 PM and had been using it as recent as 9:45.

Fourth, there are now separate tabs for the beer wall and food. This is not a big issue, but causes some confusion. The kind waitress tried explaining after the fact and had us close our food tabs at the table where we were able to tip. We were told we could close our beer tab at the counter where we entered before leaving. Upon leaving a short time later, they had the beer wall area roped off. I attempted to close out at the bar, however I was told it was automatically closed. There is also a sign stating unclosed tabs will have an automatic 20% gratuity added. So I had already tipped the waitress and was now forced to tip an additional 20% for the beer I poured myself. Closing my tab without me and adding a 20% fee over an hour before the venue closes seemed off to me. Who does the tip even go to when I poured my own beers? The bar staff interaction I had left me with the impression that this was a normal occurrence and they did not offer any sort of resolution or even offer to print me a receipt. Our beer tab was low since they closed the beer wall so early anyway, so I just let it go.

The menu has lost any sort of identity. There are now things such as frozen fries and hot dogs where as the past they focused on tapas. There was also an entire page of items only available on Monday's that you cannot order. Most places would have a separate insert with this to...

Trevina used to be the spot we would take anyone coming to visit us because the vibe was immaculate, the food was incredible and the service was perfect. Recently, I went with some friends since the new owners took over and it has gone waaaaaaaay downhill. We made a reservation and were seated promptly which was great. The waiter took quite some time to make it over to us and when he asked us what we’d like to drink it seemed like everything we said we wanted they were out of. Then he struggled to use the ordering device he was taking our order on (not sure why they got rid of the self order barcode thing). The drinks finally came and were actually pretty great! We ordered an appetizer of fried calamari which took approx 45 min to come out and is definitely a smaller portion than it used to be. The waiter never brought silverware or sharing plates for the appetizer and walked by several times watching us eat it by hand. We asked for water several times which never came. Tables sat dirty around us and at the bar for a while before someone got around to clean them. I ordered a French onion soup and Cobb salad with chicken and an order of fries for the table. Now, the salads used to be huge under the previous owners but what came out was comical. It was no joke, 5 leaves of lettuce and a fistful of spinach with chicken that was so dry it was like chewing beef jerky. Never brought out my soup or the fries. The waiter came back to ask how we were doing and I kindly reminded him that I had ordered the soup and fries. He said he would take care of that right away. He did come back with fries pretty quickly but after another half hour at least, he said he would go check on the soup. At this point I didn’t want the soup, in fact, all I wanted to do was pay and never come back. When I told him I was no longer interested in the soup because it had been so long he started to insinuate that it was too late to stop the order. Here is where I became visibly irritated about the situation and he took the hint. We asked for the check and that was that. The timing at this place has gotten so out of whack that all you have to do is look around at other tables and see confused or irritated faces about the service and experience in general.

Here’s my take, I would come back here for a drink at the bar but I will NOT be bringing anyone here to eat a meal. The service was awful, the portions are comical and they seem unorganized. Trevina:...
