Went in on a Saturday where two female employees were working, and 2 customers in line in front of me. The First person places order, then an employee walks off from register as next customer walks up and says it’s going to be a few minutes sorry without even looking at her or a smile to the woman in front of me. After 4 minutes passed by only 2 simple lotus drinks were made with two employees working. Having an anxious toddler with me I asked if it was going to be a while, or if they had a lot of orders or something so I could gauge how much longer to wait. One employee turns and responds “it’ll be another five minutes”. After having already stood there for four minutes , another estimated 5 minutes for them to only get to the next person in line was way too long and not worth the wait for me. I’ve been in a few times with my family ordering coffees, lotus drinks and breakfast food. It’s been slow service but never to this extent. We’ve had the breakfast which was average for a coffee shop. I only would recommend stopping by for a coffee or food if you have a lot of time to waste. I’ve worked as a barista in the past and it’s not difficult to at least speak to customers and give them some acknowledgment, eye contact or better communication when they are standing there waiting in a line. When employees are walking around and avoiding eye contact and failing to give customers updates on how long they might be waiting was a little unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. And unfortunately I waited 5 minutes to leave with nothing. Kindness and communication...
Read moreLet me preface, absolutely none of this judgement goes to the girl that made the drink. First, my matcha latte drink was made with espresso shots in it, I have never had that happen in the 3 years I have been drinking matcha. Matcha latte is matcha with milk, as a latte is espresso with milk. The girl was nice and remade it without espresso free of charge when I explained, but I’m not sure who taught her that was how to make a matcha drink. Second, the hot cups are extremely prone to spillage and my dad and I couldn’t even walk without it spilling everywhere, and even when driving smoothly it was spilling out of the cup. Clearly a lid problem. Wondering how the owner invested so much into this shop, but not good hot cups. This place is so cute, but there’s some things that can be improved...
Read moreWe've came here several times and the lady who had previously helped us (i believe the owner or manager as she's normally planning the star wars nights and Lego nights) had been super nice. We came today during the Century of Love event and felt very disappointed in the service. We did all 20 locations and this was the only business we were not greeted in. My husband got in line for coffee and the person who was taking orders skipped over him and took the person behind him twice despite him standing right at the counter so he ended up turning around. We spent around 10 minutes looking around the store for Mickey with my 4 year old and he kept asking them questions for them to only answer yeah to...
