I moved to Lewiston over a year ago and this Dunkin is very close to my house. I have gone here easily 100 times so I have plenty of experience with this place. Some days it is spot on but most days it is not a good experience. I know they have high turn over so I try to be as patient as possible. I am always nice to them regardless of how they are toward me. I order using the On The Go app a lot so they have plenty of notice. However, I would say that only half the time do they get my order right. The flavor shots are lacking, as they put in less than other places. I love the pink velvet and pumpkin but I can't taste them some days. I've gotten hot coffee with it spilled all over the cup and then my car has gotten sticky at least four times. I've ordered hot latte on more than one occasion and gotten cold coffee. I have been given other people's orders enough that I need to check before I leave. Multiple times there are coffee grounds in the cup. I can understand a few coffee grounds but there have been 1/4 inch in my iced coffee more than once. One time I got to work and the coffee smelled fishy. I had to dump it out. Sometimes they are extremely nice but 75% of the time, they don't have basic manners. When you give a customer their order, maybe say "Have a nice day" or something like that. I've gotten "Yup" and other times nothing all too often. There was one younger woman who was working recently who was excellent. When they didn't have what I wanted she gave me extra donuts. I could hear her insisting that the cashier give me more. Maybe she was a manager from another place because I haven't seen her since. I have been doing experiments to see what time is best. I just went at 6:30 an my On The Go order was perfect. I'll keep trying. Intermittent reinforcement is a...
Read moreI would leave 0 stars if I could...the reason for one star overall rating, even with a three star average, is due to what seems to be the new manager there, or whatever his position, some guy named Patrick, is probably the worst Dunkin employee I've ever observed. HORRIFIC "managing" skills. He has no idea what he's doing as far as managing and leading go. He clearly has no education or managing background/knowledge, just "goes by words in a book" it seems, but also treats his employees very biasedly and has no leadership skills whatsoever. How he got that position is beyond me. The employees that are busting their butts to keep things flowing without his help are quite amazing though. None of them that I observed have any respect for him AT ALL. If the upper management wants this location to stay afloat, they would replace him immediately. I am a former mystery shopper that has decided to start making observations on my own and rating them on Google so that my fellow locals can get some honest and "behind the scenes" type of observations to see what's going at various businesses, because if the management is terrible, everything else soon will be too, as it...
Read moreIm not usually one to complain or write reviews, but when it comes to treatment of employees, i am an advocate. I stopped in today for an after gym coffee and i got exactly what i ordered, everything was amazing. However i went in to pick up my order and an older lady was yelling at the young man making my food. I worked for dunkin, he was doing exactly what he was told, apologized and took responsibility for something i didn't even feel like was wrong. This gentleman was cleaning prior to making my food and even after he apologized to her- i didnt get her name, she was an older lady with pigtails- she was STILL yelling at him and berading him for literally doing his job. Cleaning is not doing anything wrong. Im hoping whoever manages the store does see my review so that it gets noticed. Fair treatment needs to be given to all employees. Even those that are just trying to make a living. He was very kind, professional and responsible and again, did nothing wrong. I will continue to be a customer, but i think that speaking to your coworkers the way she did was entirely rude, disrespectful and...
