I had the sampler, Mac & Cheese, and fries. The Good: Service was friendly and quick. The ribs were pull apart perfect. The Bad: Nothing was seasoned and basically no smoke flavor. The Mac & Cheese was bland with no creamy mouth feel. The Ugly: The beef taste like old oil and was gray with no smoke ring or fat cap, and the original BBQ sauce reminds me of the liquid from a can of pork and beans. The fries are subjective, if you like that creamy inside not overly crispy fried like going to a Brit fish and chips joint at 2300 after the pub, than this is texturally your frie; but it you like a crispy double fried method, this isn't for you.

Decided to stop by on Saturday traveling from State College, PA to MD. Place is nicely renovated and still in progress. Ordered a sampler (pork, brisket and ribs) for $19 and BBQ beans side for $3 Beans are great but very small cup for $3 Pulled pork 2’was dry and chewy Brisket was Ok. Not juicy but pretty typical Ribs smelled weird, not fresh, almost like urine. So bad that I had to force myself to try a small piece and it didn’t taste good. Cashier just shrugged and said that the smell is from the rub and they make them every day. Didn’t offer me refund or something else. Ribs went to trash.

Not bad at all, the food is flavorful. The burger was slightly on the small side but perfect for a guy trying to get better at limiting the food intake haha! Fall-off-the-bone Ribs are a definite must-try. The chili on the dogs was interesting, not the typical red chili you'd normally get. Regardless, I ate several different things here and will keep going back when in the area for sure. Lastly, you can be sure to always expect friendly service!

I cannot say enough about this place. I absolutely love love love Danny's BBQ. The best thing I love about their food is their macaroni salad I am addicted to that macaroni salad and it is not like any other macaroni salad you have ever tasted. I keep trying to guess the ingredients of what's in it but they won't tell me not that I would do it justice if I try to make it which I don't cook so I just get a quart at a time.😋😋 their brisket melts in your mouth and I love their bowls I think that's what they call them you get redskin potatoes your choice of brisket or pork barbecue sauce cheddar cheese all mixed together in a bowl...it is YUMMY!! And there Pig Pickin cake I think that's what it's called it's the only dessert they have is...

I have been looking forward to trying Danny's BBQ and finally made the trip. Word on the street was the brisket was the best so that's what I tried. The flavor was smoked in excellence. The restaurant is a no frills establishment. The bun was just a regular bun for a brisket sandwich and unfortunately one bite had nothing but fat, the Layers just lined up wrong for me. The sauces were good and the fries were as fresh as can be. The only thing I would have changed about my order is I would have just ordered the brisket so I could cut some of the fat off and ditched the bun. It didn't need bread anyway. Service was friendly and family based, bathroom was clean, I'll...

My wife and I were in the area and saw this was "top rated" on Google maps so we decided to give it a try. We got here around 1 pm and there was no other customers. So our order came out quickly and the girl that took our order was nice. She checked in multiple times to see if we needed anything. My wife and I both got the bourbon bbq burger. The burger was overcooked and dry. The bbq sauce was descent. I tried the baked beans, the sauce was thin and watery. There wasn't much to them. They could have used some smokeyness or some bacon. We also tried the coleslaw, which didn't really have any flavor. It was super creamy but...
