March 2022 - - - My experience here this time is way better than previous one. They have great varieties of food. I ordered the trio plate and everything was great and reminded me of my parent's cooking. Uncle who's cooking is very nice and welcoming. Everybody is friendly and it made my day. 👍 Will definitely come back when I'm in the area.
January 2021 - - - Came here and received burnt liempo (pork belly). I ordered it to go so I didn't see it until I got home, always check your orders before leaving! I sent a message to their Facebook page but they didn't really seem to care no response nothing. I understand some parts of liempo will have char but not more than half the product and the burnt smell is too strong. Ordered palabok along it as well but theirs is too sweet and bitter nothing like an authentic palabok. It's too saucy and the sauce is not even good and noodles overcooked, very orange, too. Sad to say everytime there is a problem they don't seem to care to fix it. (That is the service you'll get in PH but c'mon we are in US).
Also there was this one time we ordered a lb of pansit and it tasted really good so we ordered another lb, and the second one tasted bland unlike the first one, we were asked by the woman how is everything and we said our concerns and she didn't even offer to make it right. At least have consistency on your recipes and food quality.
Other than this, they have a big selection of filipino products.

Read moreThe place has been sold. It’s not Filipino own no more it sold to some people from Nepal and then they raise the prices right away some items up to two dollars on the menu. That’s a big job. A lot of other items have that price raised, including the stuff in the store. People don’t look very happy working there even when they talk not like before where they’re very happy all the time. I think we’re better off driving all the way down to Irving and we live in Denton. It’s just not the same there anymore.
I’m responding to your disrespectful review. I am educated you’re trying to insult me and the price and everything came from your employees who told me this you did not give a pay raise. You have the prices because of the rent went up and nobody said anything about the owner not being legal I don’t care what he is but he’s not Filipino and neither are you. You’re both from Nepal you’re not Filipino so don’t come out here trying to disrespect me. I’m writing a review of how I feel and I want other people to know that is not Filipino owned anymore and the quality is not what it was And what a rude...
Read moreWe used to like it here. We are almost there every weekend. When they have a new owner, we kept on going to support the restaurant. However, for the last two instances, it wasn’t good anymore. We are very disappointed on the inconsistency of prices, the dishes, and the amount of food they serve. And their premium dishes are listed where a customer cannot see before the dish is ordered. Another thing that really the last straw is the loud karakoe! They sing their hearts out and very very loud! We are trying to eat in peace but it was too much stimulation. Atmosphere has changed and it was not inviting anymore. Ohh they even serve the “papaitan” though there’s no meat anymore, just the soup itself but still charge the same price. We didn’t know until we sat down and eat. For two people, they were charging us for $72 - when I questioned why? Because we used to pay like $37, and now $72? They said bec of the premium dishes that wasn’t disclosed to us. The Filipina cashier calculated again, from $72 to $56! It was still too much compared to $37 that we used to pay. We are not looking to go...
