Title: A Fun Time at Stixx and Stones Billiards!
I visited Stixx and Stones Billiards and I had an absolute blast! From the moment I walked in I could tell that this place was designed for billiards enthusiasts. The ambiance was lively and energetic with a comfortable seating area and a well-lit spacious playing area.
The staff at Stixx and Stones were friendly and welcoming. They greeted me with a smile and made sure I had everything I needed for an enjoyable experience. They were also happy to offer suggestions and tips on choosing the right cue and setting up the game.
The billiard tables were well-maintained and in excellent condition. The felt was clean and the balls rolled smoothly. It was clear that the staff took pride in keeping the equipment in top shape. There was a good selection of different-sized tables available which accommodated everyone from beginners to more experienced players.
One thing that I really appreciated about Stixx and Stones was the availability of snacks and drinks. They had a decent selection of beverages including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options and a small menu of tasty snacks. This added to the overall enjoyment of the evening as we could grab a quick bite to eat or a refreshing drink between games.
The atmosphere at Stixx and Stones was lively and energetic with a great mix of people. It was fun to see players of all skill levels enjoying themselves and cheering each other on. The music playing in the background added to the ambiance without being too loud or distracting.
The only reason I didn't give Stixx and Stones Billiards a full 5-star rating is because of the occasional wait times. There were a few instances when I had to wait for a table to become available especially during peak hours. However the staff did their best to minimize the wait time and once we got a table the experience was worth it.
Overall my experience at Stixx and Stones Billiards was incredibly enjoyable. The friendly staff well-maintained tables and lively atmosphere made for a fantastic evening. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time playing billiards with friends or even making new friends...
Read moreThis is my favorite place in town to play pool! I always have great conversation with the bartenders and staff. The person running the door is always sociable and often times quite humorous. I have made a lot of friends here whenever I come out to play pool. The place has a good vibe and most of the tables are excellent. Drinks are affordable and they have never run up my price to play pool. $10 an hour for pool on these tables is worth it and the stock cues they have to play with are always in acceptable condition for bar cues. They also have good specials on most nights, which allows one to hang around without experiencing a hefty bill at the end of a fun night. Even whenever I go without a group I still have an enjoyable time and even on busy nights there is enough room for everyone to play on neighboring tables without getting into each other's way. The bar hosts league nights and for anyone interested in learning how to improve their game can find a lot of great advice mingling with the pool sharks. The music varies and helps to produce an enjoyable environment but isn't so loud that it drowns out conversation. Also a good place to have fun conversation with friends while enjoying playing numerous different bar games including darts, shuffle board, and foosball. Also a good place to enjoy watching sports while shooting pool and having a few drinks. They do not serve gourmet bar food here and I do not typically come here to eat. But that is the only real downside. However, one can typically run into the Jerky Man here and pick up a cheap bag of delicious beef jerky. Various flavors of jerky are provided, it is highly affordable, and is always served with a flosser in the bag, which is...
Read moreI will start by saying this pool hall is clean but pool sticks need to be updated. Also the bartender …”Mellissa with 2 L’s” is rude and clearly does not belong behind a bar. She clearly can’t multitask and gets overwhelmed and rude to customers waiting to order drinks. When she does make a drink she makes sure to let one know that she over poured. I like a good strong drink but with her over pouring to make good tips, I had to order an extra coke to add to my whiskey coke. Also - she heard me talking about how the drinks were terrible and informed me that the owners LISTEN to everyone’s conversation in the pool hall and that we were also being recorded. She asked me to leave because apparently the owners asked her to ask me to leave, stating they heard what I was talking about. For the few hours we were there pool cost me about $80 - so if you want rude bartenders, undrinkable drinks, mediocre bar food and pool sticks, sure this is the place for you. There are other pool halls in the area that have nicer staff and don’t record everything you say and do inside the establishment. (Not sure if this was entirely true but either way, we won’t...
