Service We were a group of almost 18 ppl. At first contact the Owner was very rough to us and left without taking the order or send anybody. Then when we saw a waiter (I think his name was Daniel) we call him and he tried his best to help us in a gently manner. We saw the owner again before we left cause he wanted to take a picture of us with him for his Social Media.
Food was delivered little by little to everyone without having forks or spoons to eat. We had to ask several times to get them to be able to start eating.
Wrong orders kept coming several times, but our group was nice enough to accept them even if there wasn't on the original request.
Hot sauce (paramount in Peruvian cuisine) had to be requested so many times and we only got them almost finishing our dishes.
One of the orders for our friend, anticuchos, came more than 1.5 hours late... They came saying "boiled fried potato's are finished so we could give you fries instead" but never apologize for the delay.
Food We had Peruvian Roasted Chicken (Pollo a la Brasa): It was dry, not fresh roasted. Seemed it was re-heated and the flavor was a bit less than ok. The fries were a bit soggy. Salad was ok.
Anticuchos: Flavour was ok. Meat not very tender (as supposed to be). Peruvian Hot sauce, I rocoto, came at the end despite we were begging for it.
Churros Seemed re-heated on a microwave. They were chewy.
Our friends got: Fréjoles con Seco de Cordero, ceviche, aguaito: They said didn't liked it.
Alcoholic Drinks were on the menu but we got rejected cause they had no license.
Atmosphere Wasn't very nice. Seemed like they rented any given store, put some tables and that was all.
I think they are Peruvian Nationals that can cook, but have NO IDEA about how to run a restaurant. Maybe if they focus on less variety but better quality (and keep the owner in the...
Read moreVisiting Lexington, KY, looking to have lunch. We found a Peruvian restaurant that served Rotisserie Chicken. Walking in smelled sooooooo good. We knew we were in for a great meal !!!
Allison was our server…. she was great. Very friendly, attentive. but not overbearing.
Two notes…..
We ordered a full rotisserie chicken with salad & 2 sides to split. Our meal was over the top delicious !! The brine seasoning made the chicken so tender and moist. Included with our meal was a huge salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. Very fresh. We also ordered the tostones, which were thicker than we’ve had in other places… delicious. The fried rice was good but a tad dry. . The service was great, the food was delicious. Wish we lived closer to enjoy this...

Our first visit to Brasa's was an absolute delight. As visitors to Kentucky, we were on the lookout for a memorable lunch spot and stumbled upon this authentic Peruvian gem.
From the moment we stepped in, the inviting atmosphere and friendly service set the tone for a wonderful meal. Our waiter, Karen, was exceptional, providing attentive and knowledgeable service.
The menu offered a diverse selection of Peruvian dishes, each more enticing than the last. We were particularly impressed by the Ceviche, the chicha Morada (homemade with purple corn husk) the Lomo Saltado and Aji de Gallina. Every bite was a flavor explosion, showcasing the vibrant and complex tastes of Peruvian cuisine.
We highly recommend Brasa's to anyone seeking a truly authentic and delicious dining experience. We can't wait to return on our next trip...
