Kentucky for Kentucky — Attraction in Lexington

Whoah- this is everything I love in a store! Cool, random items, weird displays, so much to see you are overwhelmed and dizzy!

First, they have the real Cocaine Bear. That's right- the REAL one! Stuffed and wearing a hat! I came here well before the film was made, so the story was new to me when I entered. I read the whole story and was absolutely gobsmacked!

I didn't purchase everything I wanted (I would go broke!) but I did get some cool stickers and a sweet baseball t, and of course a mug (my weakness!). I would have happily wasted my entire paycheck here since they had the coolest stuff ever.

After doing research of the area before our roadtrip, we knew we needed to check out this quirky place.

If you don’t know the story of this bear, look it up. This stuffed bear has changed hands many times and is now housed at the Ky for Ky Fun Mall! Not only does this building have this awesome attraction, but some other great items from notable people in the area.

Their main claim to fame is Cocaine Bear. However, outside of Cocaine Bear, everything else is extremely Left-Wing supportive. If they tried to toe the middle of the road I'd probably spend tons, frequently with them, because the style of some of their things (that vintage 90s look) is super cool. There is nothing wrong with people having beliefs and views, but literally everything outside Cocaine Bear is in some form or fashion politically geared.
