So I had eaten at this restaurant about 4 years ago and the food was good, however this time it was less than good. Looked good, but wasn't good. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas complete with rice and beans. The shrimp enchiladas was okay, however the lettuce that accompanied the entree was very bitter. The rice was not very tasty and kinda dry and hard. The beans didn't taste good at all. Hard to describe what was wrong with them other than they simply didn't have a good taste and the little cheese on top didn't improve the taste at all. The chips and salsa was very good though. I really liked the salsa especially since I like cilantro and I could really taste the cilantro in the salsa. The chips and salsa seemed fresh. The young person I was with ordered the chicken strips dinner and the strips looked like fat fish sticks. It tasted okay, but like generic frozen chicken, not at all what I would expect at a non-fast food restaurant. The French fries were dark, not burnt, just dark the way fried food looks when it's cooked in really old grease. I love French fries but not those. The chicken strips came with queso and the queso was really good. I only ate half of my shrimp enchiladas and took leftovers of the shrimp enchiladas home along with the queso and a few chips that I had left over and I enjoyed eating it later (The bitter taste of the lettuce lingered on my palate) ..The server was pleasant enough and seemed really busy. Reluctant to go back since it was such a big difference in the quality of food from my previous experience. I know I enjoyed the rice and beans previously so it's really baffling what happened between the prior experience...

I have seen plenty of staff come and go, owners too but the waiter that I had yesterday has to be the most nonchalant, rude, I could care less person I’ve dealt with the entire time I have been going there and the extremely upsetting part about it is that she is the OWNERS WIFE. It pains me to write this because the food is A1, 5 stars BUT what does that matter when you’re treated like nothing. So I ordered shrimp and chicken nachos minus the chips and when I get the bill I was charged for nacho Texanos which is steak, chicken and shrimp. I get the bill and tell the waiter aka owners wife that I didn’t get what I’m being charged for and she tells me that they don’t have a button to just charge me for 2 meats only three. So then I asked well you can’t take like 2 or 3 dollars off the bill because I didn’t get what you’re charging me for and she says no. So I proceed to tell her that she should have told me up front that she was charging for 3 and gave me the option to get steak or extra chicken or extra shrimp and as I was expressing my frustration she shrugs her shoulders and everyone knows what that means. Basically she said I don’t care/oh well. She never apologized, she never said can I make this right and she never offered to get me the extra she was charging me for. Her entire attitude was so ugly. I hope she sees this and works on her manners and customer service. She needs to be taken off the floor PERIOD. The least you can do is be nice to the people putting money in...
Read morePlaced a call in order, the lady taking it was rude and didn’t place half of my order after repeating it several times. My girlfriend picked it up and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the rest of the order to be made, and they charged her card twice for their mistake. Upon arrival the same lady was still rude and unprofessional. Another lady came to the counter to help my girlfriend and when my girlfriend tried to ‘make a complaint’, she was also rude and unprofessional. I called back after hearing what happened and I asked for at least a partial refund due to the inconvenience, unprofessionalism and overall dissatisfaction with the order and was told “no, bring me my food back and I’ll give you a refund” by the manager. I frequent this place a lot and I’m beyond disappointed with this encounter. No more money will be spent at this establishment by us and unless you’re dining in I wouldn’t recommend going here. Side note they were busy but if you can’t handle the occupancy level you provide and have posted on your front door then you shouldn’t be managing, serving or providing piss poor customer service. Other places I would recommend are Mi Pequena Hacienda (both locations), Pepe’s, El Charro, El Cid, Cinco De Mayo (both locations) and just about any other...
