Read moreLove the atmosphere but I've given this restaurant so many chances and have been disappointed every time. First time, the food was just okay, and especially for the price, was not the best. Second time, we were told that it would be an hour and half before we could even get food. They were busy. That was fine, we let the waitress know we were gonna dip. This most recent time, when we came in and sat down, we were asked if we had been in the previous week and "just left a $20 on the table and left." We explained that was not the case, everything was fine. We placed our order, it took an hour to get our food because the waitress didn't get the order back to the kitchen. She said the kitchen receipt was out of ink. She apologized to the table behind us but didn't say anything to us about the delay. Then when we got our food, it was room temp. The bison burger was dry and THIN. And the tuna steak was dried out. I don't even know how because it was supposed to have just been seared on the edges and left rare in the center. Somehow it was pink in the middle and completely dry. The bill was supposed to be split, but half of my bill ended up on the other person's ticket. What a mess. I have no desire...

The dining area is a mix of regular tables with traditional dining chairs and couches surrounding tables that you can eat at. There are book shelves that run the entire length of the restaurant that are packed full of books. They also have a large outdoor patio, on a covered deck on the backside of the restaurant (which is where we chose to eat), or you can choose to sit outside in the front of the restaurant at street level. The atmosphere was fun, as the UK football game had recently ended and people were all having a good time. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and my daughter ordered chicken wings with a side of fries. We both enjoyed our food and our total bill was only $28 and that included our drinks. The only thing that I would have changed, would have been to order my burger without the mushrooms that came on it (they were good, but they kind of overwhelmed the beef flavor from...
