Cook Out — Restaurant in Lexington

I would go there through the drive thru with my parents and the cheese burgers were nice, a step above I think what comes from McDonald's and Burger King but somewhat expensive.

However, why I am giving this fast food two stars (dismal) is because, first, they are quite slow for a so-called fast food restaurant, much slower than about any other fast food chain. So be prepared to wait longer.

And second, when I ordered a cheese burger myself and told them what I wanted, which included lettuce, I did not receive any lettuce on my cheese burger. I then came back and told them there was no lettuce. They said they needed to take away my old cheese burger and then they gave me a new one and laughed and snickered at me. I assumed they had put lettuce on the new cheeseburger they gave me so I left before checking it. Come to find out when I was about home and looked at the second cheese burger, they made it the same way without any lettuce, I am not sure if they are just dense or rude or what the problem is. Apparently, they did not listen this second time to what I wanted yet again. Very abysmal indeed.

And then just recently I went in here and ordered another cheese burger, I drove home assuming my order was fine and made properly, but when I was home and starting to eat it, I realized they never even put cheese on the burger at all.

So the chief problem with this fast food restaurant is that the people here do not follow through on putting what you want on your order and they will do it again and again even if you tell them your food is not what you requested in your order originally.

I probably won't go here again. Check your order when you receive it if you eat here because they seem to get it wrong over...

My daughter and I went to Cook Out today for dinner. I was able to place my order which was a banana and pineapple milkshake a cheeseburger quesadilla and two orders of cajun fries the lady asked me if I was finished ordering and before I could say no she tells me my total and goes away and I was saying hello I'm not done ordering hello hello but no one came back to the microphone or anything so I once I got up to the stop sign to wait for our turn. We sat and waited a good 15 minutes before we drove around to get our food so the young lady came to the window to tell me how much I needed to pay and I let her know that I was not finished ordering and I needed to place another order for my daughter she acted surprised...and she apologized and added and completed our order. The point that I'm trying to make is sometimes I know that the restaurants want to be fast and efficient however I think that they need to slow down and you'll make everybody's visit more pleasant!! Also you know they'll make me want to come back to the restaurant cuz right now I don't feel like I want to ever go back there because I don't appreciate...

We went and visited the local cookout to make two separate orders went through the drive-thru and we were talking to the lady about our order and she said hey can you speak louder I can't hear you multiple times and so then we started raising our voice and screaming have you know we are not even in a truck we are in a little car so it wasn't the engine that was the barrier I don't know what is wrong with their audio system but they cannot hear us. She asked us to speak louder so then at that point we started screaming she then asked again for us to speak louder so we politely asked if we could go up to the window to give her the rest of our order and she told us no that is bad business and she just lost a customer and our order fix your audio system or please get somebody on there that can hear.
