A favorite stop that is very convenient. Need to work on cleanliness just a little bit. But has the two C's of a good store going well. Those two C's are great customer service and pretty decent cost-effectiveness. However lately seem a little high on their meat prices after covid-19. But overall not a bad place to shop. Using good PPE awareness so wear your mask . Also use sanitizer on your buggy. We must stay vigilant with mask covid-19 is not over. Extreme high note of caution. People tend to fly around in the parking lot here. Cotton Grove Road is very busy and people come off of it very fast. And they seem to forget that people are walking in the parking lot. Also the two exits and entrance ways can be a crash waiting to happen. Just be careful have seen some close calls on people getting hit in the parking lot. Especially in the summertime when the High Rock folks come in here for something quick. Be cautious no matter what time of year. May you seek your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ daily. God be with our country during this difficult time in...

Read moreI purchased 10lbs of chicken quarters on 2/25/22 from Lexington Food Lion on hwy. 8. The following day I planned a family BBQ using the 10lbs of chicken quarters. When I opened the bag, I nearly threw up by the pungent smell of rotten meat. This is not the first time I've had this happen from this particular store with meat, but this is the first time I brought the meat back to the store. When I brought the meat to the store the following day after purchase, I asked nicely to speak to a manager. The woman I asked put her hands up in the air and said " I am the manager, it clearly says that on my tag I'm wearing. " I handed her the bag of meat with the receipt , told her I'm sorry to be a bother. I never got a refund. I wanted this Food Lion to know that there was a issue in hopes of others not purchasing same product or getting sick from bad meat. I will never shop at Food Lion...
