Durango's — Restaurant in Lexington

I am never one to write reviews, but tonight is an exception. I ordered one taco for my meal. The manager (not our waitress) delivered a chicken quesadilla instead. I told him I did not order it but did not want him to throw it away so I accepted it and ate it. The waitress never came back until she delivered our checks. She never refilled our waters or asked how our food was. I told her I ordered a taco but a chicken quesadilla came out instead. I did not want to pay for an entree that was not what I had ordered and three times the price. She said you ate it and refused to help compensate for her mistake. After two minutes of arguing with her, I spoke to the manager before paying and preceded to have the same argument. He pompously showed me my plate that I had eaten of off while making me feel ridiculous. I left paying for a meal I did not order. Food is delicious, the delivery was on time, BUT they have a disconnect between what their grubhub menu states items comes with food ordered, what the receipt states, and what you actually receive. I ordered enchilada suizas which the menu lists it comes with rice and beans but did not receive the rice and beans. I ordered carne asada which menu list as including tortillas but did not receive tortillas for the carne asada. They need to fix the hotline printer to tell the cook what to actually make that comes with the item as it is listed on the menu, or fix the menu to not lie to people about what they should expect to receive. They also have No way on their grubhub ordering page to communicate any kitchen requests such as no lettuce, or please add double chicken for extra cost. If they could fix these issues and deliver food as the menu promised, I would order again from them, but until...

This place is terrible! I ordered the chicken chimichanga and the refried beans had hard pieces in them, the chicken tasted old and smelled so FOUL that it made me nauseous just sitting there. I didn’t even finish it. My daughter ordered the cheese pizza and it came with enchiladas sauce and cheese. It made her so sick because it tasted horrible that she literally threw up on it. My god do NOT come here. They charged us 70$ when we ordered 50$ at most off the menu. I priced it all out and it seems they tacked on gratuity with my family of 4. Y’all please stay away from here, it’s not worth getting food poisoning from. I’m feeling so sick and it’s only been 10 minutes since leaving, I’m about to pull over and throw up. Please stay away!

UPDATE: health department found multiple violations with the foods and my husband ended up getting really sick from here an hour...
