If I could give 0 stars I would. Iāve been coming to this market with my fair skinned Asian mom for years. Iām a mixed raced and clearly brown skin. I came in only to get rice flour and leave, when coming up to the cashier the woman checking me out already had a different attitude from the customers before. I placed my phone ready to check out and it went through but the machine suddenly turned off. She told me to wait 2 minutes. So I did quietly, then she told me itāll take a long time. I waited a bit more and saw the notification on my phone that I had a charge. I began to show her, then she snapped at me with full on rudeness as if I was rushing her. She was bickering with me about how her system doesnāt work and sheās checking if it charged me or not. I was in shock with how abruptly rude and nasty she was towards me, my friend had to step in and tell her that I was charged (shows proof), then she continued to print out the receipt. I understand that system problems can occur, I was patient, polite, and understanding, but what I DONT understand is the amount of rudeness and disrespect a paying customer can receive just because of this occurrence. When the next customer checked out her attitude returned the way it was before me. I hope the owners of this market read this and retrain her or even get rid of her, or if she was the owner how unfortunate to have a disrespectful demeanor towards a person of color over something I was not at fault of. Iāve seen reviews and heard stories about this market and their demeanor towards other races and being colorist, hopefully others see this review and stop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisiting this Market is always a rewarding experience. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in a vibrant world of colors, aromas, and flavors that you wonāt find in typical grocery stores. The layout is clean and well-organized, making it easy to explore and discover new ingredients, whether you're an experienced cook or simply curious.
One of the marketās strongest features is its variety. The produce section is full of fresh, often exotic vegetables, fruits, and herbs that add depth to any dish. The selection of noodles, rice, sauces, and spices is impressive, with plenty of options to suit different flavor profiles and cooking styles. The frozen and prepared foods section offers convenient meals without sacrificing authenticity or quality.
Thereās also a wonderful assortment of snacks, sweets, teas, and specialty drinks that you won't find elsewhere. I especially enjoy browsing the aisles for items Iāve never tried beforeāeach trip feels like a small culinary adventure.
The staff is friendly and often happy to answer questions or help you find something. Prices are fair, and the quality is consistently high. Whether you're shopping for essentials or exploring something new, this market is a treasure for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey have a good variety of Asian foods. However, the smell in the store is unbearable and concerning to the point The Heath Department should know about it. I donāt usually write reviews like these but I went there today and the cashier (older lady) was very rude. She literally threw my card at me and looked at me with disgust in her face. I was paying with card and she was persistent that I paid with cash even though they take card and I didnāt have cash on me. She also threw the pen at me. I didnāt do anything to her. I was respectful to her and the business. I went in there to get one thing. This is probably the worst customer service experience Iāve ever had. I also work at a store and check people out but have never been rude to people even if Iām having a bad day. Iām being serious when I write this review because she actually did act this way with me and hope others donāt have the...
