I love Jersey Mike's but not the new one in Lexington. Worst customer service ever! I ordered one giant sandwich on line and it gave me a 45 minute pick up time (for ONE sandwich). I thought to myself well perhaps it won't actually take them 45 minutes to grill my sandwich. Keep in mind, I ordered this sandwich while I was in the checkout line at Walmart. We even visited the store next door before going in to the restaurant. We walked in and there were other people standing around waiting on their food and others in line trying to order. I walked up to the counter and gave my name but it wasn't ready. We waited another 20 minutes or so and they had not even started my order all while we listened to the employees argue with the manager about taking their thirty minute break. I finally asked again and the manager (I'm guessing) came up in a fury with my receipt and rudely said the pick up times are accurate and it's not your time yet. I replied, well in that case since you haven't even started my food, I want a refund. The daggers out of her eyes and the mumbles under her breath...she yelled back to kids on the grill not to fix my sandwich. She threw my refund receipt at me and started to walk away and I was like does this refund go back to my card? She kept going and waved her hand at me and said "yeah". I said I will never be back in here and told everyone still waiting on their food good luck! I suggest new management, I would not want to work there as her employee and, hire people with experience and not these kids who were only worried about grilling their sandwich for their break. You are giving customers too much time to really notice how things are run by making them wait forever. I will say all their door dash orders were ready! Bag after bag sitting there waiting on a dasher to show up. I have never waited like that at any other...
Read moreI really like Jersey Mike's but I have to be honest with my review. Last Thursday evening around 6:45 p.m. I put in an order via their app. It said my order would be done at 7 p.m. I arrived at 7:05 and they were in the process of making my sandwiches. Not a problem, I felt it was close enough. Unfortunately, it took them an additional 15 minutes after I arrived to finish my sandwiches and a few of them weren't correct. One was supposed to be toasted and when I told the girl making them she looked at the receipt and apologized, she said the special instructions was in fine print and didn't see it. She did offer to toast it after the mayo was already on it but at this point it was already close to 45 min since I placed my order so I told her to forget it. I ask if our names were on the sandwiches (the app ask you to put the name for each sandwich) she said no and the other guy that was helping asked her " Do we have to put the names on the sandwiches?". She did end up putting the name on the sandwiches but unfortunately when we got home the sandwiches are labeled wrong. Not a big deal really but don't offer if you're not going to use it. Probably will not go back to this location. I'll just make my own sandwiches, I'll be a lot faster. I do feel they deserve at least 3 stars because they were nice and the sandwiches were made correctly other than the one not...
Read moreI love Jersey Mines. I go here often and this seems to happening more often. I ordered online with a 15 min wait. When I showed up someone who was making the take out subs and asked if I was waiting on an order I gave them my name, and said they were working on it. As I stood there at the side, I watched them make sandwiches for everyone else waiting in line. I then saw the employee who was making cold take out subs making subs for the people in line, ok they must have needed to help. Then another employee started making a couple of sandwiches for takeout. I watched her make the subs and then watched everyone clear out until I was the only person still standing there waiting on my order. The employee who I originally talked to, and the second one who was making takeout subs walked off and just stood there. I then tried to get their attention and they finally came over and asked if I was waiting on a takeout. I said yes gave them my name again and they pulled my sub out from around the corner that had been sitting there the entire time. The manager was sitting at a booth behind me the entire time I was standing there. At one point I was the only one standing there, nobody was making subs, hot or cold, and still nobody asked what I was waiting on. Needless to say my sub was soggy by the time I...
