KYIRA Sushi — Restaurant in Lexington

I tried this restaurant because I was craving sushi and it was near work. It was good quality but I have had fresher so I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again. Parking at the restaurant was an issue and a bit confusing. I didn’t see any parking on the side or in front so I parked at the storage facility next door. They had posted “no parking” signs so I can in to ask where to park. There is a parking lot in the back but it was nearly full as there are multiple businesses in the building and I believe apartments as well. Sushi was okay. Not the best I have ever eaten, and not the worst. I will say it's better than drake's for the price. I haven't tried many other sushi places in Lexington, but it has been the best one so far. The fish was fresh, the rice was done well, and portions were good. The issue is the amount of fish. It was extremely thin and the rolls were bulked up with cucumber and other fillers. Other than small portions of fish, it was good. The tempura rolls were the best because they had substance to them. If you're looking for a decently priced rolls, it's worth a try.

Ordered online and food was ready when I got there. Taste: Not the most Amazing rolls but they're pretty good for the price (compared to several others around the campus)

Parking lot is behind the building. So you will have to walk a bit to pick up the food. This can be tricky for ppl with kids (No easy curbside pick-up). noticed price variations among different online ordering sites (for pickup orders with "no fees")
