We ordered carry out. Got the pizza and went back to the hospital. My daughter picked up the pizza after stepping away long enough to grab us food as my other daughter was in preterm labor at the hospital. When we went to eat it we all at the same time said the same thing. Is there sauce on this? 4 of us saying this. There was so little sauce that we couldn’t even taste it. When my daughter called back she spoke with a guy (didn’t get his name but he was nice). He asked her to hold while he got a piece of paper. Then the rudest most unprofessional unkind person came to the phone. A female with an accent. My daughter explained it again and just asked could they replace it another time as we were and that’s when she stopped taking and the “manager” began over talking her telling her this is how they were trained and the appropriate amount of sauce was given. Q) how could she have known this by not listening to the issue? She no interest in resolving our problem (which she didn’t listen to know why we couldn’t just run out and bring the pizza back in to her right then. If you’ve ever been to UK Hospital you know the long walk to park the car get on the one working elevator to get to the floor with the bridge over to the hospital walking the full length of the hospital to the inpatient elevators through the button operated doors to the desk of the person to press another button down a hall to another automated door to the room you need to get to and of course her room was the last one farthest point away. Just to have to go back the same way and then bring it all way back in again. You get the point) The poorly trained unqualified “manager” hung up on her rudely only demanding that she bring it back in. She tried to call back the store and calmly try again to talk with her after her equivalent of a toddler temper tamp trim and her phone call was unanswered. This only begins the amount of rudeness we would go on to receive as if it weren’t enough. Since she wouldn’t answer my daughter’s phone I called. I began when she answered to say I’m sorry I didn’t get your name she then rudely said I didn’t need her name what did I want to order. “You don’t need my name, what do want!” I politely gave her my name and stated that we had just purchased a pizza and , (this is where I was cut off over spoken and she would begin screaming at me) said she already told the other girl she wasn’t taking a name we had to bring it back in and hung up. The end. IF Sir Pizza continues to employ such incompetent people and place them in a management position and not hold them accountable for how they are treating their customers, then this will be my last purchase from them. IF using little to no sauce to the point you can’t taste it nor see it, is how they are cutting cost but not their prices only the quality this will be my last purchase. IF they don’t believe themselves to be above making a mistake and willing to do right honest and fair business and is accepting of this being the level of customer care they provide, this will be my last purchase. I will get ahold of a corporate number to make their owner aware. Depending on their response to me, and my family of 14 that I feed regularly from their business, will determine if this review is updated. Word of mouth does wonders. With all the business going under especially small chains I would think they would do better. These kinds of experiences are what drive small owners to have to close. Maybe not now or next week or even next month but give it enough time and it will not be around any longer. I truly and sincerely hope when I reach out to her managers and owners above her, that they will be equally as appalled of her behavior as I am as a customer and do something about it.i have written reviews anywhere I can and will be calling the BBB pending my discussion and outcome with corporate...
Read moreIf you ever feel the need or desire to experience the expression of a “demon,” by all means, definitely visit the Sir Pizzeria located 1076 South Broadway in Lexington. Nevertheless, you know what makes a demon a demon? Such a vile creature has hate in their heart, and feel no fault about expressing their hatefulness towards others. With that being said, let’s turn to the main reason for this review.
During my first, which was also my last, visit to Sir Pizzeria, I experienced a hateful, elderly caucasian female. Didn't bother to ask her name, after all wickedness and evil has many names. But you can't miss this demon, because she tends the cash register as well as wait tables. Nonetheless, the ill manner in which she served me, it was very obvious that she was infested with hatefulness. My initial thought about her was, after years of working, she'd been reduced to a narcissistic, mechanical, unhappy, shoddy little entity, tortured and in agony. Usually, a waitress provides a customer with a fork and knife, but I had to ask for a knife. Also, there was only one other table occupied. She went to their table numerous times to check and asked if they needed anything, however. Not once did she come to my table and ask if I needed more tea or if everything was alright. In short, her service was extremely lousy and her attitude really sucked. Then again what do you expect from a demon? Anyhow, I didn’t bother to leave a tip, because why bother rewarding a demon for being hateful? And by the way, Sir Pizza, the food wasn’t that...
Read moreWe stopped by Sir Pizza on Christmas Day, one of the few places open, and the experience was a mixed bag. Upon walking in, the first impression wasn’t bad. The restaurant had plenty of seating, making it a decent spot for those who like to dine in. However, things took a turn once we interacted with the staff.
The unpleasantness started when we noticed the cashier having an attitude with another customer. Despite this, we placed our order and waited a reasonable amount of time for our pizza. When the food arrived, I asked for some Parmesan cheese, and the experience took a surprising twist. The employee dropped the cup of cheese on the floor, hesitated, and then handed it to me anyway. The situation was handled so poorly that I was left in shock.
As for the pizza itself, it was average. The sauce was tasty, and I appreciated the crunch of the crust. However, the toppings were unevenly distributed—especially the small square pepperonis, which were dumped in the center. The other toppings were sparse, leaving the pizza feeling unbalanced.
Cleanliness was another issue. The cup station had dirty dishes scattered about, there were no napkins available, and an open garbage can emitted an unpleasant odor.
Overall, while Sir Pizza has potential, it needs significant improvements in professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail. It’s possible that the holiday rush contributed to the experience, but it still left much...
