Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Lexington

I'm At St Joseph Hospital last month visiting my mother, we decided to get something to eat. We stop here. It was great. My nephew Demond said let's go to THAT Penn Station. Glad I did. Food was hot, service was excellent. Cooked to order. Couldn't have been better. A guy with a big smile took our order. Just the other day, I was giving my nephew a ride to work, he said let's go to that Penn Station again. I wasn't really hungry, but it smelled so good in there. And then the guy stepped up to take our order, wait a minute! I remember that smile.. We made small talk, he suggested the chicken parmesan because I had a taste for Spaghetti or something Italian. He said the sauce had a good flavor, so I tried it. Wow! It was delicious. We got 2 big fat chocolate chunk cookies, and I got Lemonade. The meal was delicious. Upon leaving I asked the gentleman what his name was, I remembered him from our first visit. He said his name was JOEL. people like JOEL make all the difference for me when I go to a restaurant. He was do nice, had a great personality and was cheerful and his smile and attitude were exactly what you need if you're working in the service industry. I will go again and again to THIS location. The GM was very rude. A couple days prior to my call, my order was incorrect. I spoke with an employee about it that same day that took my name and number and told me to just call back when I would like to have my order remade. I called a couple days later and I spoke with the general manager, as he introduced himself. He was not helpful at all and had a very accusatory attitude towards me due to me not keeping up with the receipt (even though I had already called assuming that was good enough on my part). He was very rude to the point I was uncomfortable by the end of the phone call. If that’s how he acts I’m very curious about his expectations for his staff which is probably how this situation turned into this. 2 stars because the actual staff was very nice when I originally placed the order and when I called back they actually wanted to help, but the GM needs some hardcore hospitality and customer...

My daughter and I went there to eat and as we were waiting on our food we had already sat down she had just gotten her food I looked on the floor and there was water Bugs crawling on the floor all of a sudden one crawled on the table and It want in her frie container. When I went to the counter to tell the people that work there that they were water bugs crawling on the floor and table I took a video of it I look down on the floor and there were dead bugs on the floor. Needless to say I lost my appetite both of us Did we asked for her money back I have not eaten pennstation since.
