2024 October: service continues to decline. Cashier tonight had an okay attitude, but the cook just isn't smart enough to do even this job. Asked for about a half a spoon of rice and she literally scooped the biggest scoop I've ever seen and had to cup her hand over it to keep it on the spoon. Like wtf. Asked to strain the pico on the side, and she just did the up and down thing with the spoon. Asked again can you press it on the side to get the juices out, and she just touched it to the side so i gave up and just said okay nevermind leave it off if you dont want to do it. I'm sure these workers don't get paid a lot, but im not asking for the world here. There was no one else in there, so it's not like there was a rush and they needed to just speed through it. At this point I just wish Qdoba would just fire everyone and set up a self-pay buffet line. Or have an electronic order menu like mcdonalds where you can say how much rice and how dry to make the pico. Just let me just do it all myself instead of being stuck trying to force people to overcome their own incompetence and nonexistent effort so I can get a meal without them finding new ways to disappoint me every time I go in. I love the ingredients. But it's like pulling teeth to get people to just do the bare minimum. To be fair, there are a few people at the Palomar one who are absolutely fantastic. One of i think the managers over there is always amazing, and im always so relieved if she's there because I know I can just ask her to do it and she gladly does everything as requested without acting like I just asked her to do the impossible. 2024 May: so disappointing--but not surprising-- to see the continuing decline of Qdoba. After about 5-10 experiences at this and other Qdoba franchises where the team members did this weird fold-in-half method to wrap the burrito I finally gave up and started getting a burrito bowl and 2 tortillas on the side so I can wrap them myself and accepted that the wrapping method is just gone from the business, at least in Lexington. Today I got my usual. Stingiest portions ever. I asked for 2 meats full portion, but the portions looked like 2.5-3oz portions. A generous portion if it was half half but nowhere near the typical portion for full, and I was charged for full. Then I asked for strained Pico. For some reason some workers barely strain it and ypu end up with a soupy mix and others press the spoon against the side which works great. This time they barely strained it. Soup as expected. Then I asked for a "ton of cheese" and they just sprinkled cheese on the top. So I kind of chuckled and asked for about 4x that amount, and they made a face as if I was taking money out of their own pocket or something. I don't know if the Qdoba franchise management is just fallen off or the training is gone or what but I will be shocked to see Qdoba last another decade if all the franchises continue this obvious decline in just the most fundamental customer service and simple preparation ability. I love the food so I keep tolerating it but everything other than the ingredients is nearly always a disappointment now. No masks on any workers, yikes. (Oct.2021) 2023: Don't get a burrito during lunch rush--will just get slung together and impossible to eat without it coming apart.

Very good food. I wish they had real salsa, not just chopped up tomatoes with cilantro.. I ordered 3 soft tacos, two chicken and one steak. I only have one complaint about the steak, even though it has a good flavor, there's more gristle than actual meat. Feels like I'm chewing rubber bands. Also my #1 complaint overall is that the meat is never hot, not even warm. This really spolis it for me. I like my food to at least be warm. But the meat is NEVER warm! It's so frustrating. And it's not just this location. This goes for EVERY location I've ever visited. If the food waa at least warm, QDOBA would get 5 stars from me. I'm not hard to please, I just want warm food. Cold food is just not appetizing. I'm just saying. Also, the chips were horrible this time. And I love Qdoba's chips! But these tasted old like they were fried in old oil or have Been sitting in a plastic tub, the chips actually tasted sour, like oil that has been sitting In a container for too long, and it smells like an old odd smelling Tupperware bowl from 1975.

First time trying this location as I usually go with the competitor nearby. We ordered a burrito, and it was delivered by the quoted time. However, the flavor was not as pronounced as other Qdoba locations I have tried or their competitor. We also got chips and queso and the queso was good and more flavorful than the entrée.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had to deal with! I placed an order online for a family meal (so equivalent of about 4 bowls). I waited the 45 minutes and drove to the store. I get there and had to wait in line for about 8 bowls to be made. In the meantime I had to listen to the girl complain that she shouldn’t be working while on her break. When I finally get up to the counter I’m told they didn’t have enough food to make my order!! Wait what?! No other explanation other than they didn’t have enough food. But I just stood here and watched you make about 8 bowls, and that was just the ones that was in front of me, not including the family of 4 that was behind me that I told to go ahead while I waited on the manager. When the manager finally comes up all she did was repeat what the girl said (not enough food). So let me get this right, I placed an online order that you all can’t fulfill but instead of calling me immediately (and my phone # was on the order) and explaining all this you wait till I show up at the store 45 minutes later? Wow! And then I had to ASK for a refund!! And she was like, “oh! Yeah we can do that.” Like she was surprised that I asked for one!! The only reason I gave one star was for actually getting a refund and a receipt! Luckily there is a wonderful fast food chain that doesn’t care one bit to make fresh food for their customers that’s just across the road and it’s always “their pleasure” to make...

Update 8 18 2024 : forgot to update awhile back up they made our trip right that made up for the bad experience. Have came back twice since then and both times has been great. So I have updated them to 5 stars!

Worst experience we have ever had in atleast 10 years! Was no forks, spoons, lids for our drinks or straws or baskets to carry our food to the table. The pop machine was dripping water out so bad the tray was running over into the floor and our cups was floating where it sits to be filled at the pop machine. Customer service was just as bad everyone on a phone guy that checked us out said it was not his problem about being out of stuff was not his job. I under stand if you out of stuff the where sorry we don't have this or that but did not just a smerk that it was not his job to order the stuff. Floors where messy tables where dirty, I think we will find another restaurant to start making it our normal stop in Lexington when we are shopping. Food was not as good either as it usually is chicken was hard and cold idk whats happened to this place been our favorite but believe its time to move on some where else! Saddens us it really does. Also all the chairs were on top of the normal eating tables looked like they was closed but that was...
