Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Lexington

Nothing like first impressions , well we decided to give this place a try and wow what a mistake it was, we came in Thursday afternoon and the guy that took our order must have not understood us because the bill came to 26 dollars, I knew we didn't eat that much so we looked at the bill and found we was charged for a 3 way and another drink, well the waiter knew we didn't order that and instead of fixing our ticket he just hoped we wouldn't say anything and pay it anyways, 5hats sad because they all knew we didn't get that food but would charge us anyways, my wife brought it to there attention and instead of saying we are sorry they looked at us like we was supposed to pay it. Never did they say there was sorry about the mix up they just stared at us like we had 3 eye balls. PEOPLE IF YOU EAT HERE AT THE OVERPRICED HOTDOG STAND YOU BETTER DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TICKET OR THEY WILL GET YOU TOO....WILL NOT BE BACK TO EAT DOUBLE OVERPRICED HOTDOG AND WHAT DOES HOTDOGS have to do with Greece? Is that the claim to fame a HOTDOG with chili and. Onions? 4/28/25 Review 1⭐ - My lady met friends to do the bourbon trail & on her way home, she stopped by Skyline to grab some carryout to bring home to me. After her 5 hour trip home, I was lip smacking anxious to stab a fork into Skyline Chili. Heated it up & hmpff, not much chili in there, but lots of spaghetti noodles. Not sure if it was the lack of chili, or if the recipe has changed, but the best I can say is what a disappointment after I tossed half of it in the trash.

Being a Cincinnati transplant to Kentucky i grew up on this stuff. Today marked the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Skyline. The gotee sporting “cook” behind the assembly station really seemed to hate his job. He hurried through every order just throwing stuff together with zero attention to quality. I ordered 4 cheese coneys no onion. The first thing that was brought to me was 4 cheese coneys with onions. On the second try hardly any chili on the coneys, hot dogs were “crispy burnt” and the buns seemed like they had sat out over night. Important to point out. The place was empty when i sat down at 11:45 so the staff was under no pressure...
