Timmy Two Time's — Restaurant in Lexington

We were in the area and I googled best burgers in Lexington and this restaurant came up. We went back and forth between this restaurant and a competitor and both my husband and I were sooooo glad we chose this restaurant. He got wings, while I got the burger. We walked in and the place was tiny with a few tables and some bar seating. All tables were taken so we sat at the bar. The service was super friendly and our drinks did not go empty. We really enjoyed watching the chef cook. We got our food and was amazed. My husband loved his wings, but the burger is 100% the star. I bit into that juicy burger and literally had an OMG moment. I insisted that my husband try my burger and his eyes got wide. We both agreed that the burger was as good as a restaurant whom we both believed to have the best burger. This burger was just as good, potentially better depending on the type of burger craving. You can see the “not so secret ingredient” in my pics. (BUTTER) I asked the waiter what the sauce was on the side and he said their “spicy ketchup”. It was also delicious. Apparently they have a different eggroll flavor every Friday, which sales out most of the time, and they also have live music. We read the reviews and decided to try, not far from home. The place could use a good deep cleaning, it is a small dive, regular intoxicated customers throwing back beers at the bar and trivia, very loud place. The burger was good, the fries were limp, didn't eat, the tater tots were much better than the fries. I wish I had tried the egg roll. It was okay but it didn't make our list of regular return restaurants. There could be a day we return for an egg roll. The service was good. We think 3 star is generous. There was room for improvement (cleanliness and provide silverware, only received a knife, new fries) but not a horrible place. I could see picking up a carry-out burger with tater tots or an egg roll. Last but not least,...

My husband and I chose Timmy’s after a quick google because we were looking for a good burger fast after time wasted at another restaurant. It was exactly that, but it was also the best burger that either of us have had in many years. We showed up right after their comedy night packed in and the comedians moved outside, and from the jump, Joe was bartender-cum-chef and did everything to turn the evening around for us and keep us from swearing off Lexington.
