I ordered a drive-through meal from Wendy’s in Hamburg, my sandwich was a doublestack but I received a junior bacon cheeseburger, I do not eat pork. I had driven a little ways and by the time I got into my bag to get my sandwich out of my meal I was closer to the Wendy’s on Richmond Rd. So I thought with no hesitation that I could go to this Wendy’s and have my sandwich replaced. It’s just a sandwich. When I get to the Wendy’s, I go through the drive-through and the employee seems to Go through with my new order, which was just replacing that sandwich, I didn’t want a full meal. I didn’t want another drink. I didn’t want fries all I asked for was to have my sandwich replaced. Before he was done speaking to me he was cut off by a lady, I was told to pull around to the window and when I did, I was met there by the manager, a lady who was pretty defensive and hostile about how they could not give me a sandwich and that I needed to go back to the other store or pay. I told her that I had no problem with pain for numerous meals. It was just the principle that is the same company, i have the wrong sandwich and receipt and at the end of the day… it was just a sandwich. I know that at the end of the night there’s food thrown away. There are meals made wrong every single day, no big deal, I’ve worked in community service for 15+ years and a business owner of8 years and know that I could’ve been handed the sandwich that I ordered and the ordeal be over with I just wanted to document this and Hope that this manager wouldn’t take things this serious in order to please customers as I am a super loyal customer to Wendy’s and have been for years. Read moreEver since this Wendy's location started serving breakfast, they do not open at the stated time of 6:30 a.m. I've tried numerous times to drive thru during the week anywhere from 6:30-6:40, only to be told that it's going to take about 15 minutes for them to be ready. So on Saturday August 7, I decided to use my Wendy's app to order breakfast and drive thru around 10 a.m. When I got to the speaker, I was told they did not have an order for me and to pull around and leave. I told them what I ordered, I paid for it and I expect to get what I paid for. She told me to pull up to the second window and when I finally got to the window - since I'm sure everyone knows their drive thru lines are ridiculously long - the woman at the window reiterated that they did not have an order for me and I would have to re-order and pay or leave. I showed her the dated and timed receipt in my app and she said she couldn't help me because they don't have the order. While she's telling me I'm not getting my food - even though I paid for it and had the receipt to prove it - another employee was standing behind her and shaking his head no. Really??? All I wanted was the food I ordered and paid for. This woman completely dismissed me. What kind of customer service is that??? Now I have to go through the hassle of disputing the charge. Read moreI've never really had a bad experience until last night. We are vegetarians and we usually get a sandwich with just the toppings/ vegetables on it. You would have thought that I was speaking a foreign language. I asked for everything on pretzel buns expect the beef patty..I clearly said no meat. It's just vegetables and a bun! The woman rang them up separately and I didn't complain because it seemed super complicated for her to understand I didn't want meat on my sandwiches. I ordered three large fries and a medium pineapple mango drink. It came to a total of $30.00!! It was busy and I thought I heard incorrectly until I got to the window. My first choice was Burger King but their drive thru was closed (after 9).. so I was like whatever and paid for it. Pulled into a parking space and there was BACON on them! They charged me for some bacon pub combo but didn't give me drinks or extra fries. The bacon pub does not come with lettuce, tomato, or regular onion. It had cheese, a pickle, and some crunchy onion ring things. Super... Super upset. Normally, I would go back inside but I've worked in the food industry in the past. I'm not trying to have something nasty happen to my food. I just picked the bacon off and went home. We put our own veggie burger patty on it but I thought it tasted so gross that I didn't even finish all of it. The only thing good about our order was the pineapple mango drink. I will not go back to the Richmond Road location.....
