There's an amazing beer selection at West Sixth Brewing. They have their best sellers year round as well as canned and available in most liquor stores around the state but they also offer an array of drinks that you wouldn't even know existed unless you visit the brewery itself. The bar staff are super friendly and helpful to get you the right type of beer for your preferred taste. The atmosphere is typical for a bar setting, just a basic corner bar shape. The rest of the facility is inviting with tables and other comfortable sitting areas, also outside tables are available. The tables are a nice commodity since there is a Seafood restaurant inside. Where you can get a nice lunch or dinner, Smithtown Seafood if you need to look up the menu, highly recommend. Great experience, check West Sixth web page for tour times.

We stopped by today and had a wonderful experience. Bar staff are super friendly and helpful to get you the right type of beer for your preferred taste. The atmosphere is typical for a bar setting, just a basic corner bar shape. The rest of the facility is inviting with tables and a couple lounge chairs set up. The tables are a nice commodity since there is a connected seafood company that works with West Sixth in their menu. Overall we had an incredible time and can't wait to come back.

Wonderful brewery with a very diverse offering of brews, ciders and even a cocktail! We ended up at West Sixth sort of by accident, so glad we did! Emily was great, super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Hubby and I each did a self pick tasting so we could try all the different categories! The 1906 Lager was both of our favorites so a six pack had to come home with us! The one I'd totally have again if I was sitting at the bar right now would be the Oyster one! Can't remember the whole name of it, I think it had "cowboy" in the name, but I do remember Oyster! It came with hot sauce!! The hot sauce was the clincher, totally changed the flavor and made it irresistibly savory with a wonderful back flavor!!

spectacular. I always make a small detour here for some of the best beer in the states accompanied by some fantastic fish and chips (2 things not so easy to find accross 3 time zones). right on route between knoxville and chicago. Occasionally one comes across a bartender or barmaid who is psychic, and knows (not because your glass is empty) EXACTLY when and what you need, even if you never knew it existed. Delia (sp?) is such a barmaid. In my years coming here, it only gets better. Somehow the music is not at all annoying. West Sixth has survived the scamdemic, and without any excuses, continues to endure as an amazing micro brewery. This is a valhalla of dark beer nectar. Hats off to the brewmaster and Delia.

I have watched West Sixth grow ever since they opened and it’s always a place I go back to whenever I visit Lexington. I trust everything they produce - you absolutely can’t go wrong. They have gradually started putting out more and more special releases and limited runs of canned beer (which is all usually also on tap). Not to mention service is always great. There’s one bartender here who I believe has been with them from the very beginning, who, even when a year passes by between visits, will recognize me and ask how I’m doing and what I’ve been up to. My favorite brewery in Lexington.

West Sixth Street is a very good brewery in Lexington. The brews are great, and they are regularly coming up with new flavors. If you're not sure about a description of a particular style, ask for a sample to try before buying an entire glass of it. There is inner seating in the tap room with additional seating in the brewery, not to mention the tables outside. Bring the kids, bring the dog, bring a friend, and bring them all. Sit back and enjoy! If you get hungry, order something to eat from Smithtown seafood attached to the tap room of West Sixth.
